# Old Fear of an Old Man


"Don't worry, every ten minutes you spend there will be equivalent to only 1 minute in the real world. So time will go faster there. But try not to spend more than an hour! "

Said the wise wizard. His beard was white and long. On his head was a pointed wizard's hat. His old hands were adorned with years of experience. Who knows how many adventures he had experienced. But he had never been able to go to the dream plane and destroy the nightmare creature. That's why he called us, I thought, when Hupelas, the elven archer, interrupted and said:

"Great wizard. What creatures will we encounter in the plane of dreams? What will happen if we die there?"

The old wizard replied:
"Well, it is possible to see all kinds of creatures. Everyone can enter this dream world with what they dream of. Even if creatures from other worlds are dreaming, their dreams can also appear. But the faster you act, the closer you will be to my dreams. So it won't mix with other dreams."

"What about the other question?"

"If you die in the dream world, you just wake up. It's like a feeling of falling. And the spell I cast to bring you in consciously requires very expensive materials. I can only dream spell three people once. I have no other materials."

After hearing this, Pally, the strongest and bravest warrior among us, touched his sword. Then he clenched his muscular arms. He must have been relieved to know that at least we were not going to die because he said "We are ready!"

Then the old wizard with the white beard said a few words. He threw butterfly wings into the air. He threw a few pinches of sand. He blew a dream catcher ornament made of pure spider web and suddenly we all closed our eyes.
We fell asleep...

When we opened our eyes again, we were in the old wizard's dream and it didn't take long to realize that because it was like a giant library. It's like he keeps all the knowledge he has ever learned here. It was like a colosseum, a library like a huge theater. But there were books where the audience should have been.

The floor was like a dough. It was sticky and soft but we needed to move. Staying for a long time would mean sinking into the floor.
We had to find the exit. In the corridors we would find the creature, the nightmare.

Then we started to move forward and we came to a place like a door where theater actors come on stage. I moved my hands towards the door. I said I thought it wouldn't open. But I forced myself and started to shape the dream. Like kneading a dough, I made a handle for the door. And I thought, here it is.

I stood back and watched Pally open the door, and suddenly a huge werewolf burst through the door. He had bloody fur. This werewolf was going to attack us. We were all shocked, especially that a powerful elder was afraid of an ordinary werewolf.

But a few seconds later we realized that the werewolf was baring its teeth at a family on the other side of the stage.

This family consisted of a mother, a father and a son. The boy was about to cry, and he was holding a small piece of stick. Like a wand. Suddenly this boy swung it and sparks came out of the end of the stick and hit the werewolf. But it was very weak and the creature was not affected.

We understood what happened.

The elven archer Hupelas quickly began to imagine silver arrows in his hand. And he began to fire these arrows at the werewolf.

Pally imagined a silver sword fresh from the furnace. It was so hot that the silver was dripping off the sword onto the ground. And he began to attack the werewolf.

So I immediately imagined a powerful staff, but not for myself.

I signaled the little boy to use this powerful big staff, and he waved it, and I imagined spells coming out of its tip, ivy spells to stop the werewolf from escaping.

It ended fast.

We woke up fast.

The old wizard man had tears in his eyes and was about to cry. He could never kill his nightmare. Nobody can kill their own nightmare. Everyone needs friends, or professionals... 

But we got our money, that's what was important to us.
