Hola a todas las damas de esta linda comunidad. En esta oportunidad me quiero unir en expresar mis respuestas a las preguntas del concurso de esta semana contest #53.

## <center> ** 1.-Preferirías quedarte sin agua o electricidad durante una semana?** </center>

Es un reto quedarse sin alguna de las dos, pues ambas son necesarias para la vida. Pero prefiero quedarme una semana sin electricidad a que tener que pasarla sin agua, pienso que el agua es un líquido vital e indispensable en nuestra vida, sin el podría morir. Es que les cuento que ya me ha tocado vivir casi una semana sin electricidad, así que ya pasé  y superé ese reto, jajaja  y con confianza puedo confirmar mi respuesta.

 Les explico: estuve por algunos años viviendo cerca del Amazonas, estado Bolivar, Venezuela, y por esos lados las torrenciales lluvias repentinas y frecuentes, vienen acompañadas de rayos y centellas que dañan el tendido eléctrico de la zona, por qué hay crecidas de ríos, se caen árboles o los rayos impactan en alguna planta generadora de electricidad de la zona y es común quedarse sin energía eléctrica.  Por eso pasé más de una vez, 4 días y 6 días sin electricidad... Así que esto no sería nuevo para mí, jajaja. Lo bueno es que por esos lados hay pozos de aguas profundas en cada casa, que pueden mantener el suministro de agua sin problema, sea con bomba eléctrica(que se usa cuando hay electricidad)  o usando un envase amarrado por una cuerda que se lanza en el pozo para sacar el agua manualmente, así se tiene garantizada.

No es como en algunas zonas de la ciudad que si no hay electricidad tampoco hay agua... Terrible!!  Estar sin luz tiene algunas ventajas si no eres dependiente del televisor o teléfono. Sin luz, te fijas más en la naturaleza, trabajas en  tus sembradíos, dedicas más tiempo a cosas que causan alegría y que quizás no aprovechas cuando estás con electricidad y te distraen el televisor o el internet. Incluso  te pones creativo para pasarlo lo mejor posible, y de noche sentados fuera de casa, cerca de amigos y familia puedes contemplar mejor las estrellas sin luz eléctrica, cantas junto a ellos, contar chistes y reírse. Además la falta de electricidad se puede solventar, con una planta de energía eléctrica portátil o el uso de paneles solares como los hay por allá en zonas indígenas, tiene solución y alternativas.

 En cambio sin agua tienes pocas opciones pues tú vida depende de ella, si no tienes suficiente a diario te deshidratas y tú cuerpo se debilita,  y mas si estás en una zona calurosa y húmeda. Con agua, el calor se remedia porque puedes bañarte y refrescarte cuántas veces quieras, no se te complica la limpieza de la casa y baño...y muchas cosas son más fáciles teniendola, hasta el simple hecho de cocinar. Así que definitivamente prefiero pasar una semana sin electricidad...y tener agua, a pasarla sin agua... y tener electricidad.

## <center> ** 2.- ¿Qué personaje de ficción te gustaría conocer y por qué?** </center>

 A Doris la pecesita de la película de comiquitas: "Buscando a Nemo".  Tiene una personalidad encantadora. Demuestra ser buena compañera, siempre de buen humor y dispuesta a ayudar a quien está con dificultad. Con su positivismo hace que las situaciones difíciles se vean pasajeras y que se resolverán de un momento a otro. Hasta me entendería por qué al igual que ella se me olvidan mucho las cosas, jajaja... Así le pasa a ella, se le olvidan por momentos todo, pero nunca olvida ayudar sin intereses alguno si se le pide auxilio.
Y díganme quien no va a querer andar y contagiarse de su buen humor y amistad?... Sería una amiga verdadera. Tendría mucho que hablar con  ella, y conociendola copiaría muchas cosas de su personalidad y me ayudaría a enfrentar lo peor con la mejor actitud. Por eso quisiera conocer a Doris la pecesita de la película de "Buscando a Nemo".

## <center> **1.-Would you prefer to be without water or electricity for a week?** </center>

It is a challenge to go without either, as both are necessary for life. But I would rather go a week without electricity than having to go a week without water, I think that water is a vital and indispensable liquid in our lives, without it I could die. I can tell you that I have already lived almost a week without electricity, so I have already passed and overcome that challenge, hahaha and I can confidently confirm my answer.

Let me explain: I lived for some years near the Amazon, Bolivar state, Venezuela, and in those parts the sudden and frequent torrential rains are accompanied by lightning and lightning that damage the power lines in the area, because there are flooded rivers, trees fall or lightning strikes on any power plant in the area and it is common to run out of electricity.  That's why I spent more than once, 4 days and 6 days without electricity... So this would not be new to me, hahaha. The good thing is that in those parts there are deep water wells in each house, which can maintain the water supply without problem, either with electric pump (which is used when there is electricity) or using a container tied by a rope that is thrown into the well to draw water manually, so you have guaranteed.

It is not like in some areas of the city that if there is no electricity there is no water either.... Terrible!  Being without electricity has some advantages if you are not dependent on the TV or telephone. Without electricity, you can focus more on nature, work on your crops, spend more time on things that bring you joy and that perhaps you don't take advantage of when you are with electricity and you are distracted by the TV or the internet. You even get creative to have the best time possible, and at night sitting outside, close to friends and family, you can contemplate the stars better without electricity, sing with them, tell jokes and laugh. Besides the lack of electricity can be solved, with a portable power plant or the use of solar panels as there are over there in indigenous areas, has a solution and alternatives.

On the other hand, without water you have few options because your life depends on it, if you don't have enough daily you get dehydrated and your body weakens, especially if you are in a hot and humid area. With water, the heat is remedied because you can bathe and cool off as many times as you want, it does not complicate the cleaning of the house and bathroom ... and many things are easier having it, even the simple fact of cooking. So I would definitely rather go a week without electricity...and have water, than go a week without water...and have electricity.

  Doris the little fish from the cartoon movie: "Finding Nemo".  She has a charming personality. She proves to be a good companion, always in a good mood and willing to help those who are in difficulty. With her positivism she makes difficult situations seem temporary and that they will be solved in a moment. She would even understand why, like her, I forget things a lot, hahaha .... That's how it happens to her, she forgets everything at times, but she never forgets to help without any interest if she is asked for help.

And tell me, who wouldn't want to hang out with her and be infected by her good humor and friendship? She would be a true friend. I would have a lot to talk to her, and knowing her I would copy many things of her personality and she would help me to face the worst with the best attitude. That's why I would like to meet Doris the little fish from the movie "Finding Nemo".
