Happy day to everyone in this beautiful community dedicated to pets. Having a pet in our lives makes our days brighter,makes us have a sense of responsibility to take care of them and at the same time they take away our stress. Dogs are very playful and affectionate, and I love them...but cats also have their funny side. Cats have the ability to quickly win your affection because they are very expressive in their affection, they look for you to pet them when they want something, especially their food, hahaha. They insist on sticking to you on their legs crying tenderly for you to see them and show them affection too. This is the case of Rosita, a kitten that with her sweetness and constant shows of affection managed to be adopted and thus have a "good life" of cats, hahaha.

El tener en nuestra vida una mascota nos alegra los días, nos hace tener sentido de responsabilidad al cuidarlas y a la vez nos quitan el estrés. Los perros son muy juguetones y cariñosos, y me encantan...pero los gatos también tienen su lado gracioso. Los gatos tienen la capacidad de ganarse rápido tu cariño pues son muy expresivos en sus cariños, buscan que los acaricies cuando quieren algo, es especial su comida, jajaja. Insisten en pegarse a ti en las piernas llorando tiernamente para que lo veas y le muestres cariño también. Este es el caso de Rosita, una gatita que con su dulzura y muestras de cariño constantes logró que la adoptaran y así tener una "buena vida" de gatos, jajaja.

Rosita is the cat of one of my sisters, and she has a very nice story that I want to share with you. My sister already had other pets like dogs and even other cats when Rosita came into their lives, because she loves animals and dedicates part of her life to take care of the ones she has. Once, through her kitchen window, she saw this little white cat with yellow spots, very small and thin, sneaking through the bars. Just at meal times, she would arrive and ask for her portion crying. At first my sister was sad not to give her food and began to show her affection, something that became a constant for several days and months, until she was adopted. 
>>Rosita es la gata de una de mis hermanas, y tiene una historia muy linda que quiero compartirla con ustedes. Mi hermana ya tenía otras mascotas como perros e incluidos otros gatos cuando llegó Rosita a sus vidas, pues ama a los animales y dedica parte de su vida en cuidar los que tiene. En una oportunidad por la ventana de su cocina vio que se colaba entre las rejas está gatita blanca con manchas amarillas, muy pequeña y delgada. Justo en los horarios de hacer la comida, ella llegaba y pedía también su porción llorando. Ni modo, al principio a mi hermana le daba tristeza no darle alimento y empezó a mostrarle cariño,algo que se hizo una constante por varios días y meses, hasta que se quedó como adoptada. 

Everyone in the family that received this kitten wondered whose kitten she was, and how she got there. Seeing that no one claimed her as her owner, they decided to name her and welcome her to her new home. I asked her owner: where did she get that name "rosita"?...she answered: "I have a friend whose name is rosa and she talks like she is crying all the time. And rosita the cat asks for everything crying. That's why I decided to call her rosita. Because she reminded me of my friend (smiling as she said it)". So this newly adopted kitten came to be called "rosita". And her owner gave me permission to share her pictures of when this kitty arrived at her home, always riding on the counter near the window where she usually enters, hahaha.
>>Todos en la familia que recibió a esta gatita, se preguntaban de quién era, y cómo llego allí. Al ver que nadie la reclamaba cómo su dueño, decidieron de una vez ponerle nombre y darle la bienvenida a su nuevo hogar. Yo le pregunté a su dueña: de dónde salió ponerle ese nombre de "rosita"?...ella me respondió: "tengo una amiga que se llama rosa que habla como que estuviera llorando todo el tiempo. Y rosita la gata  todo lo pide  llorando. Por eso decidí llamarla rosita. Porque me recordaba a mi amiga(sonriendo mientras lo decía)". Así está gatita recién adoptada llegó a ser llamada por "rosita". Y su dueña me dió permiso para  compartir sus fotos de cuando está gatita llegó a su hogar, siempre montada en el mesón cerca de la ventana por dónde acostumbra entrar,  jajaja.

With time Rosita gained the affection of all the members of the house, every time they gave her food, with gestures and affection she showed her gratitude and even until now she is still like that. After a while both the dogs and the other cats in the house accepted her and she integrated very well with everyone, being always good-natured. By the way, Rosita has a companion, also a cat, who is a little crazy and sometimes fights, but she keeps her posture. For this reason she has always been loved in the family.
>>Con el tiempo rosita se fue ganando el cariño de todos los miembros de la casa, cada vez que le daban comida, con gestos y cariños mostraba agradecimiento y aún hasta ahora es así. Luego de un tiempo tanto los perros y los otros gatos de la casa la aceptaron y ella se integró muy bien a todos, siendo siempre de buen carácter. Por cierto que rosita tiene una compañera también gata, que es un poco loca y a veces pelea, pero ella guarda la postura. Por este motivo siempre ha sido querida en la familia.

When the time came for her first heat, her owner tells me: "She had a pregnancy in her first heat and because she was mating with very big cats, she could not have the kittens, the first one died in the birth canal and the rest could not come out. Five kittens died and she had to have a caesarean section and sterilization at once". She also told me: "She would have been an excellent mother because she spent a lot of time expressing milk from her breasts. She still does, even though it has been almost 8 years since then". So this beautiful kitten could not have her children and since then she has dedicated herself to eat and get fat, hahaha, today she weighs 6.500kgs, what do you think?..... These days when I went to my sister's house to visit I saw Rosita lying on top of a refrigerator and there I realized how fat she is...and also shameless, hahaha. I had to make love to her while she was talking because she wouldn't stop looking for me, I even had to play with her.

>>Cuando llegó el momento de su primer celo, me cuenta su dueña: "Tuvo en su primer celo un embarazo que por aparearse con gatos muy grandes, no pudo tener las crías, se le murió el primero en el canal de parto y el resto no pudo salir. Se le murieron 5 gatitos y  hubo que hacer cesárea y esterilización de una vez ". Además me dijo: "Hubiese sido excelente madre pues paso muchos tiempo sacando la leche  de sus mamas . Todavía lo hace, aunque han pasado casi 8 años de eso". Así que está bella gatita no pudo tener sus hijitos y desde allí se ha dedicado a puro comer y engordar, jajaja, hoy pesa 6.500kgs, que les parece?... En estos días que fui a casa de mi hermana a visitar veo a rosita acostada encima de un refrigerador y allí me dí cuenta de lo gorda que está...y además sinvergüenza, jajaja. Tuve que hacerle cariño mientras hablaba pues no me dejaba de buscar, hasta me tocó jugar con ella.

Rosita likes to eat concentrated cat food, but she also loves to eat well cooked fish (sardines) that her owner prepares for her. And I tell you that she is a syphrine cat because the fish she eats must be without the head or the tail, only the body where all the good meat is, hahaha. And it is fixed that in her snacks she has a little bit of cat flour to maintain her beautiful body. As I said, she is affectionate and thanks with gestures what they do for her and when she doesn't have much food she goes and hunts a mouse, that she doesn't get to eat, she brings it to her owners so they can see it and remember that she is hungry, hahaha, she is tremendous. But, did you notice that rosita around her trunk has some yellow spots around her mouth....
>>A rosita le gusta comer alimento concentrado para gatos, pero también le encanta comer pescado (sardinas) bien cocidas que le prepara su dueña. Y les digo que es una gatita sifrina pues el pescado que se come debe ser sin la cabeza ni la cola, solo el cuerpo donde está toda la carne buena, jajaja. Y es fijo que en sus meriendas tiene un poquito de gata harina para mantener su hermoso cuerpo. Lo que sí, que con gusto la atienden, pues como ya les dije es cariñosa y agradece con gestos lo que hacen por ella y cuando no tiene mucha comida va y caza un ratón, que no se llega a comer, lo trae ante sus dueños para que lo vean y recuerden que tiene hambre, jajaja, es tremenda. Pero, ustedes se dieron cuenta que rosita  alrededor de la trompa tiene unas manchas amarillas que bordean toda la boca?...

Because of this stain, the family says it's like she drank coffee with milk and the whole edge of her mouth is marked. Regarding this, her owner tells me: "The stains in her mouth remind us that she would have drunk coffee with milk, and when we ask her about "coffee with milk"? rosita knows that it is a compliment". So even the kitten understands jokes, hahaha. Even when she's grown up, she likes to stay as long as possible near the kitchen window, where she can see the movement of the food and knows that it's her turn to eat soon. 
>>Pues debido a esta mancha, la familia dice que es como que tomó café con leche y le quedó marcado todo el borde de su boca. Respecto a esto me dice su dueña: "Las manchas en la boca nos hace recordar que hubiese tomado café con leche, y cuando le preguntamos por el "café con leche"? rosita sabe que es un piropo". Así que hasta de bromas entiende la gatita, jajaja. Aún ya bien crecida le gusta quedarse el mayor tiempo posible cerca de la ventana de la cocina, donde ve desde allí el movimiento en hacer comida y así sabe que pronto le toca comer.

Every time I visit my sister, Rosita is in that place on a freezer that is under the window, and she lies there and receives my affection when I go there. That's why almost all the pictures are of her there, very relaxed, I would call her with the cell phone in focus, and she would even pose and move from one side to the other, turning around, but lying down so that I would show her affection. I would tell her: "that's why you are so chubby, because you don't want to get up from here and always right in the kitchen", and she would just look at me and cry like she was spoiled, hahaha, very funny. 
>>Cada vez que visito a mi hermana, rosita está en ese sitio sobre un congelador que está debajo de la ventana, y ella muy acostada allí recibe las muestras de mi cariño cuando voy. Por eso casi todas las fotos son de ella allí,muy relajada yo la llamaba con el celular enfocando,  y ella hasta hacía poses y se movía de un lado al otro dando vueltas, pero acostada para que le hiciera cariño. Yo le decía: " por eso es que estás así de gordita, por no quererte parar de aquí y siempre justo en la cocina", y ella solo me miraba y lloraba como consentida,  jajaja, muy gracioso.

This story of Rosita leaves me with an impressive lesson: "you can earn the favor and love of others by not giving up on your goals and always showing affection and kindness". This kitty from the moment she first came to this home she strived to be loving and to show it. She also leaves a lesson for anyone who finds a stray animal in their home: showing love and compassion is the right thing to do, and it pays off in the end. Even now Rosita's owner always spoils her and talks to her lovingly while the kitty looks at her, cries and goes to her to show her love.
