<p>Navidad es una época hermosa de tradición y placer, donde se usan muchos adornos de colores llamativos, música y luces. La pirotecnia no se hace esperar y se aglomeran grandes cantidades de personas entre amigos y familia para compartir esta fecha juntos. Hoy vamos a hablar de los pequeños peludos de la casa, que si bien lo llenan todo de alegría, suelen ser los mas afectados.</p>

<p>Esta publicación va dirigida a un publico particular: Las personas que aman a los animales. Si por el contrario, el bienestar de tu mascota o el de los animalitos a tu alrededor te da igual, lo mejor sera que pases de largo. </p>

<p>El pequeño peludo Blanco se llama Lucas. Un perrito rescatado que ha llenado mi vida de un amor desmedido, y que me hace feliz día a día. Hoy escribo esto por el, porque si todos tomamos consciencia, Lucas y todos nuestros peludos también tendrán una feliz Navidad.</p>

<center><h1>Hablemos de la Pirotecnia.</h1></center>



<p>Como sabemos, los animales tienen un oído mucho mas sensible que el humano, por lo que las explosiones y silbidos que esta produce pueden causar grandes daños. </p>

<strong>¿Que podemos hacer? </strong>

<p>Tomar todas las previsiones necesarias. Nuestros vecinos, o incluso miembros de la familia no van a dejar de lanzar pirotecnia, por lo que debemos ser nosotros mismos quienes nos ocupemos de que sea lo menos traumante posible.</p>

<p><b>1)</b> Mantenlo dentro de casa, lo mas lejos posible de donde se usa la pirotecnia. En una habitación cómoda.</p>

<p><b>2)</b> No lo amarres, esto solo aumentara su estrés. Por lo que incluso podría autolesionarse.</p>

<p><b>3)</b>Previo a la hora donde se empieza a utilizar coetes(si tienes un perro), juega con el durante el dia. De modo que libere energía y se encuentre relajado.</p>

<p><b>4)</b> Si no estarás con el, pon música clásica en el lugar donde el estará. También puedes sedarlo por la noche con ayuda de tu veterinario para que duerma tranquilo.</p>

<p><b>5)</b> Utiliza un vendaje compresivo. La tecnica de Tellington TTouch para calmar a tu mascota sera de gran ayuda. Es sencilla de aplicar y solo necesitaras una banda elástica de 12 cm de grosor. Funciona con gatos, perros e incluso, caballos. Tu mascota se sentirá mas relaja cuando la banda la cubra y la ayudara a prepararse para los estímulos auditivos externos.</p>

<p>6) En caso de tener un gato por favor, recuerda cerrar bien todas las puertas y ventanas para que este no escape. Ademas, pon una caja con una manta suave en la que pueda refugiarse cómodo y calentito. La llevar para gatos también podría serte de gran ayuda. Solo debes consultar a tu veterinario.</p>


<center><h1>En cuanto a los adornos navideños</h1></center>

<p>Son llamativos, algunos producen música y sin duda llamaran la atención de tu mascota.</p>

<p>Los animalitos, a veces son como niños. Meterán las cosas a su boca, las morderan, y a veces, por error podrian tragar un adorno pequeño. </p>

<p><strong>¿Que puedes hacer?</strong></p>

<p>Los adornos mas pequeños del árbol de navidad ponlos en la parte mas alta, una que no alcancen. Pon las bolas navideñas y cosas que no quepan en su boca en la parte mas baja. Cuida la ubicación del cableado y las luces, ya que a algunas mascotas les gusta morder los cables.</p>

<p>Ten en cuenta que la música muy alta puede aumentar sus nervios.</p>

<p>He llevado toda esta investigación a cabo porque sera mi primera navidad con Lucas, mi nueva mascota desde hace unos meses. Así que quería hacer todo lo posible para que no sea una epoca estresante para el, y decidí compartir todo lo descubierto con ustedes, para que podamos cuidar y proteger a nuestras mascotas. </p>

<blockquote>La pirotecnia no es un juego. No solo se trata de "estrés para los animales". Puede acarrear problemas de salud serios para ellos. Desde afectaciones nerviosas, hasta infartos ante el miedo.</blockquote>
