La historia que les voy a contar el día de hoy es bastante cómica y me trae buenos recuerdos, ya que al igual que en la historia de mi anterior post en el cual me gané un tatuaje de forma extraña, aquí me pasó exactamente lo mismo pero con un viaje a Waterland Margarita, a la edad de los 14 años, haciendo un dibujo para un concurso de McDonald's🎨.

> The story I'm going to tell you today is quite funny and brings back good memories, because just like in the previous post, in which I won a tattoo in a strange way, here the same thing happened to me but as a trip to Waterland Margarita at the age of 13, making a drawing for a McDonald's contest🎨.

Para que entiendan la historia: érase, en el 2010, una vez una joven que le gustaba mucho dibujar y vio en la televisión que esta cadena de comida rápida estaba realizando un concurso en el cual te pedían dibujar a tu mascota y, los mejores retratos de el país (sí, del país), podrían ganarse un pasaje a Margarita para nadar con delfines🌊. 

> To make you understand the story: once upon a time there was a young girl who liked to draw a lot and she saw on TV that this fast food chain was holding a contest in which they asked you to draw your pet and, the best portraits of the country (yes, the country), could win a ticket to Margarita to swim with dolphins🌊.

Claramente jamás creí que terminaría ganando, así que solamente envié mi dibujo por correo (correo literal, no electrónico, a la antigua), por ocupar un espacio de mi tiempo en algo productivo. Al mes terminé recibiendo la noticia de que había ganado un pasaje tanto para mi, como para mi hermana y mi mamá. Y lo más loco es que había enviado el dibujo con el nombre de mi hermana ya que los participantes solamente podían ser jóvenes de ciertas edades y yo, por dos meses de diferencia, ya no calificaba (aspecto que me pareció bobo, porque al final muchos de ellos también tenía mi edad y les había pasado exactamente lo mismo)🤣. 

> Clearly I never thought I would end up winning, so I just sent my drawing by mail (literal, not electronic, old-fashioned mail), for taking up some of my time in something productive. Within a month I ended up getting the news that I had won a ticket for myself, my sister and my mom. And the craziest thing is that I had sent the drawing with my sister's name since the participants could only be young people of certain ages and I, for a month of difference, no longer qualified (which seemed silly to me, because in the end many of them were also my age and the same thing had happened to them)🤣.

Al final, mi hermana terminó recibiendo el premio por mi, pero aún así terminamos yendo ambas con mi mamá a ver a los delfines✈️. 

> In the end, my sister ended up getting the award for me, but we still ended up both going, along with my mom, to learn about this new experience✈️. 

Aquí les dejo una foto de mi dibujo, comparándolo con la imagen real de mi perrita Cleopatra, el cual ahorita me parece muy feito, pero aprecio mucho por lo que significó🐶.
