A simple and effective guide about security at Steam. GSG Lessons. (33)
Today is an important and simple lesson about security on Steem.
Forget everything you know about passwords before.

Let's start.
You need three passwords:
- main (owner)
- posting
- active.

**You need to do one thing.**
Record the *main (owner)* on a piece of paper or a flash drive. Delete main password from the other places.
Now your account is secure. Do not use the main password anywhere. Only to change other passwords. You will only need this if your other passwords will stolen.

Use *posting* password to log in to different systems: STEEMIT, BUSY and etc.

Use *active* password for financial transactions.

That's all. The security system in Steem is brilliant and comfortable.

Yes steem is really secure it take someone really clumsy to get hacked here. I take your advice it seems like a more secure way.
