I always highlight the fact that a vision is more poweful than a thought-made goal.

We cannot really know how our pathway will unfold physically, hence our thoughts have the potential to paralyse us when unexpected hardships hit us. When we instead focus on the feeling behind the vision, and let go of seeking out the pathway through thinking, we are always flexibel and most creative yet effective in our decision-making.

These days theory is most often taught to help others avoid certain "mistakes" in the practical application. But I think these practical obstacles are very helpful and worth to be experienced. I prefer hardships on the road instead of painstakingly attempting to skirt them! ;)

the reason why Porcupine have lots of thorns is because they evolved to defend themselves from predators. The same in human life, we evolved because we learned our lessons, people who learned their lesson and evolved they survived, people who didn't learned their lesson die. the faster the development of our environment the faster we change. Look what happened to the wallmart and malls; they never thought about selling stuff online, Amazon has now valued 700 billion bucks selling stuff online with the minimal infrastructure.

"Successful people got where they are, by making new rules of how to play the game. Rules to suit their agenda and further their specific goals". This is so true, a very underrated but factual statement

I would say thank you hundred times for this post as I needed something like this very desperately.
I totally lost my motivation these days about my studies and needed something to just recharge myself enough to get back there. And yes I would add if you are determined  enough, have motivation and confident about your strengths and take advantage of the opportunities you have on time yout will definitely get over the line and reach the dream destination you set your mind for.

You're right! I participated in the sales training program (at work) and there we were taught similar things. That is, you can not accept refusals, you must learn to persuade and defend your position. For many it is quite difficult. Decisiveness plays a key role since it allows you to look at things as a "challenge." That is, indecisive people look at any situation as a problem - and decisive people look at any complicated collation as a "challenge" for themselves.

Absolutely true, come backs make the stories of successful people. Picking up and dusting yourself and trying again is a trait that has got many successful people where they are. I believe that's the reason why successful people are few, many people quit along the way, those who try to come back are not willing to adjust accordingly. We all have dreams or have had dreams before and getting to them sometimes seems impossible but it's these dreams that give us a purpose in life, giving up on them makes life sometimes not worth living. We should never think of stopping until we reach where we believe are supposed to reach.

Accept failure but don't accept not trying. If you REALLY want to do something, failure becomes inevitable. Failure is good for success. Just remember, not to repeat the same mistake again.

With each failure, you grow, learn new and important things and get one step closer to reaching your goals. Each time you fail, your fear of failure becomes smaller which allows you to take on even bigger challenges.
