Blink and you would have missed it, but on 22nd of August, 2020, all around the UK, there were thousands of people marching through their towns in a valiant effort to raise awareness around two very important issues. Here are two of the many protests that took place around the UK.

These two issues seem to be far apart from one another and I'm not quite sure how the two groups became aligned to form such a powerful movement. However it came about, I am very glad they did and maybe this is a way of tipping the scales in our(The people) favour. 

Within the huge crowds that gathered together were people protesting against the treatment of UK Veterans and an equal amount of people protesting against child trafficking, many of whom were holding banners quoting the well-known slogan, #savethechildren.

Those protesting for the Veterans are doing so because many ex-servicemen have been abandoned by their government after leaving the army. Medical care for those with PTSD and other injuries have been hard to access or inadequate, which has consequently left many veterans unable to cope with life outside the Army. Furthermore, it has led to many of them becoming homeless which, in turn, has inevitably resulted in a cold and lonely death, curled up in some shop doorway or churchyard. A death not befitting someone who proudly served to protect their country. 
Protests for this cause have been going on for a while but up until last weekend, they protested alone. This dynamic and the fact that many veterans happen to be white, have tattoos, and shaved heads, enabled the MSM to smear whoever turned up to support the veterans. Shamelessly, the media labeled these brave men as "Right-wing" or just plain "Racists", often accompanying their "report" with a well-timed photo that would make them look aggressive. More often than not, any reporter covering a veteran's protest would shoe-horn into their report the name, ***Tommy Robinson***, claiming that he has either funded or single-handedly organized the protest(without any citations or evidence to back up the claim). 
Sadly, this has led to many people being misled and misinformed about these protests and therefore the cause has gained little traction or recognition. Subsequently, the government, armed with its foot-soldier's reporting, has no need to act upon the requests of its rebellious subjects. Now, with the Veterans labeled as racist, this has then given the green light for counter-protests to occur whenever and wherever the Veterans show up. In more recent times the BLM movement and Antifa have been more than willing to put themselves forward when a counter-protest is needed, which serves to promote their cause while upholding the racist narrative against the Veterans. 

What I have just described has been the status quo when it comes to any demonstration against government policy, a petri-dish filled with lying reporters, misinformed counter-protests, and disgruntled ex-servicemen. And every time it's a cocktail destined to react and explode. But now things seem to have changed and it appears the Veterans have made a very wise move against the underminers. I mean the government will always get away with labeling a group of bikers and tattooed ex-soldiers as racist bigots, but they will have a hard job doing that against men and women holding up signs that say #savethechildren, don't you think...?     

# <center>Tipping The Scales</center>

Even for those who choose to ignore "conspiracy theories" and the people who promote them, they will still be aware of Jeffrey Epstein and his child-trafficking network yet to be uncovered. They may also be aware of the term "Pizzagate" but undoubtedly they won't have looked passed the tagline. And if their fickle minds allow it, they might even remember Sir, Jimmy Savile and all those who helped to hide his uncontrollable lust for raping young boys and girls. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if these blinkered conformists had since forgotten about Jimmy Savile, and probably the same will be said when it comes to the whole "Pizzagate" situation, given enough time. Nonetheless, Jeffrey Epstein did a great job of, once again, raising that uncomfortable truth many seem to want to hide away from. You know, the truth that we have a network of pedophiles who have infiltrated the highest positions in society, and how they all go about their dirty deeds unchallenged. Yes, that uncomfortable truth.

Now, I'm not about to count my chickens before they hatch, but maybe we've come to a point where the public are actually beginning to pull their heads from the sand. Could we be at a point where we've said enough is enough? I have to admit, I was happily surprised at the number of people who showed up to protest, and it's not as if these protestors have George Soros backing them up, is it... There was no media campaign to announce the time and place. There were no sports stars dressed in thousands of pounds worth of clothes telling us how oppressed they are. And best of all, the police didn't even have to murder anyone for this to gain the public's attention! No, all these people came out onto the streets purely because they had worked out for themselves they're being fed a pack of lies and that our children are being abused, en masse.

So with this refreshed public outrage and the opportunity taken to team up with the Veterans movement, we have created a perfect alliance. An alliance that the media found very difficult to paint with the good-old Racist brush. And so, these brilliantly coordinated protests had the MSM and the government(Pretty much the same thing) in a right pickle. I mean, you can't exactly label a group of mums waving #savethechildren banners as a group far-right Nazis, not even today's media would get away with that. Even so, I did read an article from some online news outlet, stating that, and I quote, "Tommy Robinson is thought to have funded today's protests". I guess old habits do die hard but come on, really?! I suppose the MSM has to try something but I'm beginning to think their days are numbered. Because with the amount of people who came out to protest, and the fact that the media couldn't convince those who didn't protest that this was some goose-stepping Nazi-parade, it now seems that these protests could go from strength to strength... 

All I can say for the moment, is that I have my fingers crossed for more protest like this and maybe the time is right to emulate the people of France and see a push for weekly protests. Maybe then the message will really sink in to both the government and those who still choose to bury their heads...
