If you like to play games on a PC then chances are that you have considered having a High Refresh Rate Monitor for your setup at least once in your life and if not then you probably already have one. It's no hiding that almost every esports player plays on a High Refresh Rate Monitor as it gives you a distinct advantage over normal Monitors, but you won't know the difference if you don't play on it. For example, if you always play on a 60 Hz Monitor you will never know the difference, but if you play on a 144 Hz Monitor for a week and then switch to a 60 Hz Monitor you will most definitely feel the Lag.


Now there is no denying that a High Refresh Rate Monitor is always better than a normal one but you should also consider a few other things before you jump onto the bandwagon of buying a New Monitor. First things first you need to check what is Max Frames your Graphics Card is giving out for the games you frequent regularly. The reason behind this is pretty simple, you don't want a 360 Hz Monitor while your GPU hardly gives out 144 Frames as that is just not beneficial to you. So once you know what the Frames your GPU provides go ahead and choose either 140 Hz or 240 Hz or 360 Hz Monitor but I will say that the difference between 60 Hz and 144 Hz is whole to more than 140 Hz and 360 Hz.

I have played in both 140 Hz and 360 Hz Panel but for some reason, I like the 140 Hz Panel more, and even though I know the 360 Hz Panel is better the difference between them just doesn't justify the price for me . So if you ask me I will suggest you go with a 140 Hz Panel if you are just looking to play casual games and rank up but if you are seriously considering going Professional in eSports then you might want to invest some extra money to get either the 240 Hz or 360 Hz.
