Days are getting colder by the hour and today I felt my very first experience of a possible Frostbite like scenario. I say a Frostbite like Scenario as my hands started to hurt a lot and it wasn't a feeling I have had before. I have to Ride a Motor Bike for my Job and often days I come back home late in the evening which means I have to ride my Bike in the Chilly Winds and even though I have almost all the necessary clothing to block the winds as much as possible, I still get cold especially in the hands as I don't wear Gloves. Yes, that might be bad but whenever I wear gloves I feel like my grip is off on my Bike and that may lead to bad circumstances so I don't wear gloves.

But after today when I experienced a chilliness so bad that my freaking hands froze and it hurt badly as well. I am definitely going to go hunt for a good pair of Gloves tomorrow. Once I got back home today the first thing I did was make boiling hot water and make some Coffee and with the Coffee Mug, I started to heat up my right hand. It took a good 5-10 minutes to heat up my hand and the pain to subside and I have never been more glad that all was good as I was quite Scared.

@happyme ·
If you can, get gloves made for riding motorcycles. Those have armor to protect your fingers in case you fall off the bike (and almost every rider falls off at some point). It does take a little getting used to, but once you get used to using gloves it feels quite normal.

The bot missed yesterday.

I do have a pair of gloves but those are not Rider Gloves and even though they block a lot of wind I still feel the chill.

Unless the gloves are very bulky, like snowmobile gloves or ski gloves, your fingers will get cold. I do use Winter gloves when it gets real cold, but even then I still need to put hand-warmers into my gloves if I'm on the bike for a longer time period. One small pouch into each glove helps quite a bit. The hand warmers are sometimes called Hot Shots. They are small pouches that you activate by squeezing the pouch and they heat for about 8 hours; then you throw them away.
