<center>  [Source](https://dianeatwood.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Scammed-Converted.jpg) </center> Scammers are everywhere and we all know that but since it is now the Age of the Internet it has become quite hard to deal with all the ways Scammers target us in our day-to-day life. I have been attacked a lot of times and also got scammed once and even though the amount was small I still felt bad in my conscience. Even though I was a little Tech-Savvy I got scammed so what about my parents who are not that Tech Savvy. #### Are they Doomed? The answer is no there are a lot of ways you can help your parents if they are not that Tech Savvy. The first thing I did was tell my parents to never entertain any calls related to their Banks. Yes I know there might be some calls that are important but I am ok with doing all the work for my parents if they just decide to not entertain any Banking related Calls. The Second thing is to forward me any link that has been sent to my dad via email, once I check it I give the green signal and he opens it. Yes, it is tedious for me but that is the price we have to pay for their Safety. I also update and check every App installed on my Parents Smartphones as we know that there are Malicious Apps that do get installed without even the users knowing when and how. There is also the threat of Disappearing Tabs for which I have placed Pop Up Blockers in my Parents smartphones. These are three things I was able to do so that my parents don't get scammed at all. It's a learning curve to be safe from Scammers and I wish one day my parents can do the same on their own. I know my dad still entertains scam callers and I hate that, but I am trying hard so that my dad stays away from them.
