You stretched your hand towards me,
with a sweet smile on your face,
with dreams and falls overcome inside,
with erased tears and hidden wounds.

You stretched your hand towards me,
with a sweet smile that warms the heart,
you stretched out your hand and you said "come".
You, with so much pain and so many problems,
with so many rejections and bad times,
With so much life in the past.
You, helping me.

You stretched your hand towards me,
when everyone else ignored me,
when a problem only represented.
You, you stretched your hand towards me.

And you helped me in spite of everything,
and you helped me and it did not cost you anything;
and you helped me without judging my past,
without counting my falls,
nor my wounds.

And I stretched my hand towards you,
no matter your past,
your falls, not your failures.
And together our hands intertwine
and together, we complement each other
