<center><h2>How I got hooked into Computer Games</h2></center>

While most of you here didn’t know me well, I played a lot of computer games since I was a kid. I was exposed to eGames or electronic games or eSports or whatever you call that at a very young age. If I remember it correctly, I think I was 7 or 8 years old that time. 

But during that time I was just in a spectator’s mode in nearby computer shops, not until our parents (with my sister @shairanada) bought us our first family computer. I couldn’t remember how old I was that time but I remember how we used to fight over that device haha!

Below is a sample gameplay of one of my favorite games on that computer. It’s called the Duck Hunt where in you’ll need to shoot the birds disturbed by your weird dog. Credits to the owner of this video below.

Anyways, when I reached high school, our parents bought us our very first personal computer. That time, (I wouldn’t say I got addicted but) I got in love with computer games. One of the earliest games I played includes Need for Speed, Counter Strike, Diablo, Vice City and of course Warcraft 3.

Out of all that games, Warcraft 3 was the hardest that I’ve played. (By the way, I am talking of the Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and not the Frozen Throne yet). For months I’ve tried to accomplish the campaign mode or simply the story quest.

I also played skirmishes against bots in single player game, but that time, I haven’t played multiplayer yet (or a game with another human) since, or course, I am just playing at home. That time, I didn’t know that there was already an expansion of that game called the Frozen Throne.

And in my Frozen Throne experience, I played my very first game of the famous DotA or Defense of the Ancients. DotA is a custom scenario for the strategy game Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. The game is usually played in multiplayer mode against another human being.

That time, I always save my money (my allowance in school) just so I’ll have money, to be able to play just this particular game in computer shops. And I always get scolded by my parents for spending too much money in games and for going home late.

When I got into college, I still play those games. But this time I started playing online games and my very first online game was Ragnarok Online (RO). It is an online role playing game based on Norse Mythology. 

I also played games such as Zero Online, Flyff, Conquer, Eudemons, MU and more but nothings beats my love for RO. The game is just too good and if I think that RO is the most popular online game in the Philippines during that time.

Haven’t played RO now but I would love to play again if I’ll find a good private server. And if someone knew of any, please leave a link in the comment section below. I would really appreciate it.

Until now I still find myself enjoying online games, especially DotA 2, the evolution of DotA from Blizzard’s Warcraft. I also planned to buy PUBG and Counter Strike soon.
