I just want to state something that is obvious. The cold reality. People don't comment on my longer Steemit posts, I rarely see anyone there, so I make them __RARE__ .
Also, besides story and inspirational posts, I do digital art category. That category does not include the 1k+ textual explanation, and frankly, I like that graphic thing very much, and I intend to keep it.

I will not shift and change every second day, just because somebody thinks I should. If anyone likes it, fine. If not, fine again, I can't help it. I never comment on something I don't like. 

I have many live posts on my blog an in a few different categories - digital art, story, inspirational, life, money, tutorial, funny. In average it is two posts per day, rarely more ( today I will do a  few more)  - so there is a variety.

But, if you make a few solid scrolls down into the empty abyss of my Steemit blog, all that was happening with it before this December, the whole previous year,  you will find out that my long posts made less interactions than a video I pasted from the YouTube...

I have many posts which are lengthy, but I don't see any comments on them unless it is spam or some bot that I invited there.
Literary my blog posts were so insanely empty that I was creating artificial discussions solely with robots.

Pathetic?

No, why. The robots never asked me why my post is not long enough. Actually, I find the @cleverbot quite entertaining, we should mingle more.

The people rarely have any time to read a long Wikipedia size posts. I made the commenting rounds before on Steemit, but nothing really happened. I stopped writing because there was no feedback, on everything. I don't know what is that significant change now, because I am no different person than I was a few months ago, but something surely changed as I am getting the response on my comments, but I still have little to no response on my posts.

I can make the huge exhausting post, there is no problem, but it is futile and it really sucks when I come back and find absolutely nothing the next morning, or even better a sarcastic one-liner or a link - because my post is so boring and stupid, and my comment section is only good to be a dump site for all the smart people . 

I am not talking about lack of upvotes, but about the plain simple human reactions.

For me, it is better to make a lengthy post once a week, do it well and keep the rest on medium 250-300 words discussion posts, something that will make people TALK TO ME and not filling my comment section with one-liners, negatively changed sprinkles, links, something I can't even read or I don't know in what language it is, typing corrections or financial advice.

These are not comments or reviews of what is written above. That is all off-topic.


I will make a 1k + words post once a week, about something I know, but for the everyday use, I prefer to keep the  rattle down because in most cases it gave very little to no response.
