# HOW DO I USE MY UPVOTES AND WHAT ARE MY FAVOURITE POSTS TO VOTE FOR?

With the exception of a few general rules that cannot be amended, you can publish whatever post you want on Facebook. However, users of the hive platform are not free to publish any of the posts, just as you are not allowed to share other people's work unless you share the source. You aren't allowed to share images that are not free, and the image source is required. 

There are more rules with hive to survive, and there are upper class managements who review every post to see if it is original content or just copy/write. In simple terms, the HIVE ecosystem is a platform that allows you to produce only genuine posts that require some work. There will be no reward for short content that requires less effort. This is what I've learned in the last two years.

We are all aware that each of us has the hive power to upvote or curate the content of others. One thing to note is that self-voting is not permitted on this platform because it is a type of farming, which is not permitted. You must use your hive power to help others who write good contents and that is how this ecosystem is run.

After two years working in this ecosystem, I've been able to acquire some hive power, with which I am pleased, and I have met my goals. During this period, I learnt about dlease and how to request hive power from others by offering them your liquid hive. Fortunately, I now have 40K HP purchased from others, which is more than enough power to satisfy skilled content writers.

After reviewing my vote power in hive, I am now more comfortable with that power of $0.69 at the current hive price. This is a great upvote power that allows me to vote for other people's content. We have 10 upvotes every day to use, each with a different percentage you choose to provide. It also depends on the nature of the post either its is original post or not, If i find good post I will give with 100% vote.

My favourite posts are about nature, art, and hive price debates, and I do more upvotes on these topics, although I also vote for various other topics at random. These upvotes have significantly increased the number of followers I have and my earnings. I vote for all posts with at least 500 words of content, but I also vote for single photo postings that pique my interest.

# EMPOWERING NEWCOMERS, EARNING, AND COMMUNITY GROWTH

Hive upvotes are more beneficial for the hive ecosystem's proper use, particularly for newcomers. Upvoting all of those new joiner contents will encourage them to participate in the hive ecosystems and teach them about the upvoting method. This is critical for correctly utilising your power, which is also beneficial to the ecosystem.

Before purchasing the HP lease, I looked at the profit and loss because it matters alot for users about to have check and balance about your profit. Unfortunately, this ends in some loss, but I don't mind because it will benefit me in the future. This will help me get more friends and earn more money from my posts. It is obvious that if you upvote other people's posts, they will return the favour, which is the benefit of this lease.

Buying a lease is quite straightforward since you may connect to dlease.io and arrange your purchase for the APR you are most familiar with. If the seller has agreed to your chosen APR, your order will be filled and you will receive hive power in your wallet.
