I'm a huge fan of decentralized internet such a MaidSafe, IPFS and ZeroNet, so I'm really eager to see if MaidSafe can generate enough interest...
Still considering whether I should invest, however, it's a centralized investment platform and minimum investment is ~$1.2k.

I've read about their fundraising campaign in IBTimes UK. Hard choice. Maidsafe is on the market since 2006, long before blockchain technology appeared, so it's not a startup. But we have IPFS and Swarm also. Synereo tech closely tied to success or fail of the Casper protocol..

* ipfs is not censor proof

the only comparable is swarm in my opinion. but we'll have to wait and see how they do it

I've been watching MAID and a few others on Poloniex as a way to 'play the market' in the future but I don't have that kind of money to invest at the moment.  
There is a lot for me to learn before I dive in and I'm still trying to find legitimate sites that share insight into digital-currency or decentralized initiatives.  It's nothing that I've ever researched before so I'm excited about learning new things in order to take educated risk that affect my future :)
Thank you for the link - I'll be reading up on MaidSafe...as soon as I get finished with my favorites coming across my Steemit feed :)
