Everybody knows we are no fan of the bitFiat smartcoins. We're huge supporters of bitSilver and bitGold though. bitFiats have no future anyway, since those coins are pegged to fiat currencies. 
 
Bitshares' next step is to remove all reliance on the CEX's for price discovery. It's not a one-day fix of course, it's a weaning over time. Bitshares will start using various other DEX's and Atomic Order Books (aob's) to help with decentralization of price discovery. No more CEX's.

I want to Borrow and Sell (Short) what has the biggest fall potential, that's why #bitUSD, #bitCNY, #bitEUR, #bitRUBLE, (....) is great idea. 
#bitSilver and #bitGold in the long run should go up a lot of slower then #BTS but way more stady

KYC is hypocritical crap. I opened a bank account in the US was able to initiate wiretransfers and was issued a visa debit card. This required **NO KYC CRAP**

I go to buy $5 in Crypto and I get stuck in an endless loop of submitting selfies that get rejected for illegitimate reasons after providing the most intrusive levels of PII imaginable. It ONLY serves as a deterent to adoption!

I really enjoyed using bitshares for a couple of years (lifetime member, etc), but found I had stopped logging in after getting stuck in crypto-bridge's KYC (I submitted 20 rounds of ridiculous selfies that the provider would not accept for w/e reason) even though the reason they implemented the KYC procedures was to comply with governance that didn't apply to where I live :-(. Anyway, I logged in yesterday. It's still a great platform with a lot of potential, but the user-base seems to have fled elsewhere and that is sad because it really was an amazing, innovative platform. :-( I can see that crypto-bridge itself has added new functionality as well, looks very cool, but I am unable to use it :-(

For what exactly, do you really need KYC on Crypto-Bridge?
Did you stake BRIDGECOIN?
You can log in using the same credentials on every other BitShares interface and trade BRIDGE tokens there.
