* Get KeePass 2.34 - http://keepass.info/
* Setup a Master Password

*Tip: use a very long password. example `This#is1a'great &%%Password`*
Write it down if you're not sure you can memorize it.

* Save the file to a USB Stick
* Add a new Entry

* Give it a Title and Generate a 256 bit password

* Click OK

## Head over to steemit/permissions 

* Search this symbol near your *owner key* and click it

* Change the password to the one you created in KeePass - Right Click -> Copy Password

## Rinse & Repeat for the active key.

* Set an easier password for *posting key*

You're only ever logging in using your *posting key* password. It allows you to post and to vote.

If you want to send money, you open an incognito window in your browser (Chrome: CTRL+Shift+N) and login with your *active key*

Active key allows you to transfer.

# NEVER TOUCH YOUR OWNER KEY. ONLY USE IT IN CASE ONE OF YOUR KEYS WAS COMPROMISED AND YOU NEED TO CHANGE PASSWORDS
