#general and #postpromotion-moderated are too much for me. I mainly stick to lower traffic channels and private channels. But I can be reached by private message, as @bacchist. I'm usually more than happy to answer questions than new users might have, or even just chat casually... Just please don't send me your steemit links if I don't know you. :)

I'm also active on few other channels some open and others private. But suffice to say I keep tabs and help around on the busiest channels of steemit chat. Feel free to ping me should you need any support.

I am keeping an eye on #introduceyourself channel, as a place where newcomers can promote their introduction posts without being flooded by other random links.
Rules are simple: post link to your introduction, talk with other newcomers. When you are no longer newcomer, curate others, encourage them to enjoy this platform.

Steemit Chat is an awesome place, I found a lot of help in  #steemitabuse-appeals room, when i had a problem with my reputation and #postpromotion-moderated room helped me to promote my #introduceyourself.

**edit:**  On a side note I also run a [SteemIt Forum](http://www.steemitforum.com) to better keep things all in one area. Currently, in works to help with steemwiki also.

I created the Visual Effects & Houdini channel, but not sure if I'm a mod.
