 I got this comment on my last post where I talk about HIVE going to $20. Obviously, we're using a little bit of creative imagination here. I do believe in Hive and I do believe it has a very bright long-term potential. With all of that in mind, I know that it can sound outlandish when people throw these price predictions out there. $20 HIVE assumes a lot of things: 1. Massive scale adoption of HIVE 2. New dApps building 3. More positive economics 4. Resource credits ## Massive scale adoption of HIVE Adoption of HIVE needs to scale up. We need more users here. Without more users, Hive will not grow. I believe that we have awesome apps like Splinterlands and LeoFinance that aim to drive in more users to this blockchain ecosystem. With them leading the charge, I have no doubt that we'll see more users flock to our ecosystem. ## New dApps building The last point drives into this one... We need MORE dApps like Splinterlands and LeoFinance. If we can get them, then we'll see vastly more people flock to the Hive ecosystem. ## More positive economics I really like what has been done with HBD lately. I think Hive has awoken to the possibilities of what can be achieved if we all work toward a common mission and understand the average crypto person. The average crypto person wants defi. They want yield. They want the ability to build a fortune. That's what HBD now offers and HIVE is at the core of it. ## Resource credits The original point I would make to the commenter above: why would anyone buy HIVE long-term? In my opinion, HIVE will one day become a war for resource credits. How do you get them HIVE? Why do you need them? DApps like Splinterlands and LeoFinance are already starting to slowly eat up more and more resource credits on a daily basis. One could assume this pace of growth would continue. I have a feeling (not at time soon however) that hive will be more of a resource token for applications that is then given to people in order to use their platform.
