Now is the last week in the month of Ramadan means in the near future we will celebrate the Eid al-Fitr and can interact with neighbors and relatives, although there is a suggestion not to vacation to the hometown but with the advancement of technology friendship is maintained. 

This weekend, I visited one of the largest malls in Medan, to buy holiday supplies and most importantly to relieve stress because it has been 2 weeks of work. 
Keep in mind health protocols should be carried out when entering shopping centers, such as wearing masks, keeping distance, and washing hands.

Tired of walking around the mall and already getting various items that I was looking for made me become thirsty and hungry. 
Of the many restaurants I chose one of the Japanese-style fast food restaurants, Hoka Hoka Bento or Hokben

Judging from the name of course many people who feel Hoka Hoka Bento is a foreign restaurant that opened a branch in Indonesia but it turns out that this fast food restaurant is one of the original Indonesian restaurants established since 1985.

Bento is indeed from Japanese which means Japanese lunch lunch packed in a box-shaped container.  A traditional bento contains rice, fish or meat, pickles, and vegetables. Bento content must contain balanced nutrition, including protein, carbohydrates, minerals, fats, and vitamins.



Just like in other fast food restaurants, in HokBen the system ordered first just took a seat. The difference is, here almost all the menus are already displayed in front of the eyes, like want to buy a meal in the cafeteria

My husband and I ordered two different menus namely Premium Set (Rice + Beef Yakiniku + Chicken Katsu + Miso Tahu + Ice Ocha) and Paket C (white rice + beef yakiniku + shirmp roll + tori ball + Iced Lemon Tea) very appetizing food.

Beef yakiniku is one of HokBen's most popular main menus. Beef yakiniku is made from premium beef cooked with HokBen yakiniku sauce. Coupled with the onion pieces that make the aroma of meat and seasoning fragrant.

The unique thing, besides the food above is actually hokben's most famous dish is white rice and mayonnaise sauce. The white rice is very pulen, fragrant, and clean white is addictive. For the mayonnaise is a very champion, if not limited consumption I will take as much fresh salad vegetables combined with salad dressings that fit enjoyed with egg roll menu or yakiniku.
