I'd like to thanks to Stars community giving me a chance to say the words deep inside my heart before I make my next post, I kept all these words in my heart and not telling to my family in these 2 years as I don't want to make them worry about me, I am way better after I spoke my story here last night.

Previously: I went too sentimental when I see the changes of the Shenzhen after my last visit in 520 days. It was too shocked for me to see such big changes and I just felt that was unacceptable.

But life goes on, we have no choice but to accept it, we can do nothing else on that anyway. I am not the only victim of the pandemic of course, many people's situation is even worse than me, at least, I still got a job and my family is all stay healthy, I should satisfied. 

I started to turn my mind telling myself that I need to be positive and happy in front of my wife all the time, it had been more than a year of separation, we better treasure every second of our reunion and not leaving any regret when I return HK.

Then my wife started to arrange gathering with her friends, guess they were quite looking forward to seeing me again after such long period.

Here is the first dinner of the reunion between the friends of my wife and me, we had pick up the Hong Kong Dai Pai Dong restaurant for dinner (little background of the HK Dai Pai Dong: Dai Pai Dong is one of a famous food culture in Hong Kong. It first appeared in the late 19th century. After World War II, the colonial Hong Kong government issued ad hoc licenses to families of deceased and injured civil servants, allowing them to operate food stalls in public as to earn a living. This type of license was larger than the ones normally issued and therefore being called "dai pai" (big license) by the locals.)

The friends of my wife did arrive earlier so they simply reserve the table for us first, I was trying to take as much street views pictures are I can in my visit, because I knew that I am going to take another year or even longer to come again (and I can proof I was right, HK is facing the 5th waves of the outbreak now)

When you get into Dai Pai Dong, the seafood is on the to eat list for sure, so we had order a crab and shrimp, plus some spiral shells, and one ....pig guts (I know it's disgusting to the western friends, to be honest, I am not really fancy in animal organs, so I simply skip it)

The last picture above is their cashier which in very old HK groceries style back in 1960-80'S, fortunately I did take picture of the cahier before I leave.
