Hello everyone, have a nice day and good games. This post will be about [Hyper Rail Blaster](https://play.unity.com/en/games/d4159504-bf99-4745-be2d-c11461596429/ball-blast-v250117), an arcade style game coming to the [Arcade Colony](https://arcadecolony.com/) platform, hopefully soon. The objective of the game is very simple, use your drone to eliminate the bouncing green balls called the Pricklepack Gang, a band of mischievous trying to invade the planet. By the way, the drone we played with to shoot has a a name, it's Herbie, I think it's very cute actually.

You have to be very focused when playing Hyper Rail Blaster, as the green balls will bounce around non-stop and can damage your drone, which of course, will make you lose the game.

Well, first let's take a look at the bar below your drone, this bar represents your ammo, it starts green, which means your ammo is full. By pressing the space bar, the dron fires missiles, which consume its ammo slowly, but regenerate very quickly. You can also hold down the spacebar to shoot automatically, doing this will consume your ammo much faster. And if your bar completely red, you won't be able to shoot for 1 second. You will have to wait for it to regenerate, so be careful, of course, when the game is fully launched, as I expect it will take much more that one second.

The game starts very simple with just 1 green enemy sphere with 15-19 health, after destroying it, it splits into to smaller enemies, which you must also destroy. After destroying the smaller ones, it splits into even smaller ones. When you destroy them, you will move on to Wave 2.

Wave 2 starts with two slightly larger green spheres, which can have between 30 and 39 health. When you start this wave, 3 random items items will drop from space to help you. In the example below, there are 2 hearts and a frozen clock. Once again, you will need to destroy all the spheres, including the split ones, in order to advance to wave 3.

In Wave 3 the first boss appears, a significantly larger green sphere, which has 100-109 health. In this wave, 2 random items are dropped. From now on, the game becomes a little more difficult, but it gets easier with a little practice.

After defeating the boss, more green spheres appear, and in the next wave and the further you progress, it will become much more difficult. And that's great, this game is all about skill, at least for now. When the game is fully implemented, I assume the drone will be an NFT and the higher the rarity, the better, I hope to get the legendary if this happens.

By the way, The lightning bolt ⚡ represents your score, it increases every  time you succesfully shoot the enemies. 1 impacted shoot is worth 1 point. The higher the score, when the game rewards are implemented, I suppose you will get more colony rewards, of course, based on the amount of colony you have staked.

The Heart split in half 💔, represents your health, of course. Each game you start with 3 health and you lose 1 if the enemies impact your drone. No matter how big or small the sphere is, it will always deal 1 damage.

The yellow arrow is called Quarks ![quark25.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aubryd/AKCGPgY88yJ3R5UWYayVTsgNvnMxSAaB7j958t7rajGpsoWKzLtbj1oC7iDv51o.png), and represents your energy in the game. When the game is fully implemented, the first 3 games of the day will be free, but after that, if you want to play another game, you will need to spend 1 Quark, the second one will cost 2 energy, then 3 and so on. Each day, the energy cost will reset to 0. Also, Quarks will also be purchased when the game is fully implemented.

After defeating an enemy, they may drop some items. I wonder what the probability is, but it's pretty high, at least in the demo. You can get Quarks (energy), Hearts and the Frozen Clock, which causes all enemies to become paralyzed for 3 seconds. But be careful, as when you destroy a frozen enemy, the split ones are not affected by the frozen clock and will move immediately. By the way, if the enemies are already frozen and you activate another frozen clock, the time does not stack, so you may want to wait until the effect ends to activate another one.

I really like this game, as I mentioned before, it really requires skill and I love that. Also concentration to successfully evade the spheres and slowly eliminate them by shooting, it's really cool. I wonder what other NFts there will be in this game besides the drone, I guess it could be ammo and its regeneration. And probably some kind of power up card that protects your drone for a few seconds, making it invulnerable, like in Moonkarts. There are so many ways to make this game awesome, and I know it will be. A release date hasn't been announced yet, but I'm hoping it will be soon and we will have another game on the Arcade Colony platform. That's all for now guys, take care.
