Greetings, my dear creative friends. I hope you are well, healthy and well being and that these are days of much creativity and productivity.

I'm back here to share with you a new craft with the joy that brings these days of Christmas. This time, I made an Advent wreath based on recycled material. This is the base of my birthday cake. After eating all the cake, which was delicious, I discovered this golden plate that immediately gave me a wink. 

So I kept it to use it for any craft and what better time than to make this beautiful Advent wreath. To make it I bought some garlands and other details, plus some white candles because I couldn't find purple or pink ones to make it according to tradition. 


Without further ado, I leave you the materials and the step by step of how I took advantage of a material that is disposable, but which I gave a second chance to use.

Saludos, mis queridos amigos creativos. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, con salud y bienestar y que sean días de mucha creatividad y productividad.

Estoy de vuelta por acá para compartir con ustedes una nueva manualidad con la alegría que trae estos días de Navidad. En esta ocasión, hice una corona de Adviento que tiene como base un material reciclado. Este es la base de la torta de mi cumpleaños. Luego de comernos toda la torta que estaba deliciosa, quedó al descubierto este plato dorado que me hizo un guiño inmediatamente. 

Así que lo guardé para aprovecharlo en cualquier manualidad y que mejor momento que para hacer esta linda corona de Adviento. Para su elaboración compré unas guirnaldas y otros detalles, además, unas velitas blancas porque no encontré moradas ni rosas para hacerla según la tradición. 


Sin más, les dejo los materiales y el paso a paso de cómo aproveché un material que es desechable, pero al cual le di una segunda oportunidad de uso.

Step by step **Step by step**.

As I told you before, the base I used to make my advent wreath is the cardboard where my birthday cake came from. So I cleaned it very well with a damp cloth to remove any cream or cake residue that might have stuck to it. 

Anyway, I waited for this base to dry well before I started decorating it. 

The first thing I did was to glue all around the edge of the garland with hot silicone to shape the wreath.

**Paso a paso**

Como ya les dije antes, la base que usé  para hacer mi corona de adviento es el cartón donde venía mi torta de cumpleaños. Así que la limpié muy bien con un paño húmedo para quitarle cualquier residuo de crema o de pastel que hubiera quedado pegado por ahí. 

De todas maneras, esperé que  esta base se secara bien, antes de comenzar a decorarla. 

Lo primero que hice fue pegar por todo el borde la guirnalda con silicón caliente para darle forma a la corona.

After gluing all the garland, I proceeded to decorate it with the Christmas ornaments. I started with the gold ribbons. I glued three of those and then the gifts to complete the decoration.

Después de pegar toda la guirnalda, procedí a decorarla con los adornitos navideños. Comencé con los lazos dorados. Pegué tres de esos y luego los regalitos para completar la decoración.

To finish this beautiful wreath, I placed the four little candles that symbolize the four Sundays of Advent and it was ready. 

I like the way it looks and I am very happy because this is the first Advent wreath I have made for my house in this country to continue with the tradition that symbolizes the four weeks of Advent.

I lit the first candle and wished it with my wishes for health, family unity, peace and freedom for my country.

Para terminar esta hermosa corona, ubiqué las cuatro velitas que simbolizan los cuatro domingos de Adviento y así quedó lista. 

Me gusta cómo se ve y estoy muy contenta porque esta es la primera corona de Adviento que hago para mi casa en este país para seguir con la tradición que simboliza las cuatro semanas de Adviento.

Encendí la primera velita y la intencioné con mis deseos por la salud, la unión familiar, la paz y la libertad de mi país.
