Hello guys, I hope everyone's doing great?? Hmmm... Ya'll see this thing called health? We should always learn to be grateful when ever we wake up healthy, cause indeed there's a reason they say 'health is wealth' and the person who penned this wasn't wrong. So I'm so sorry to have missed writing last week's prompt or even writing in general last week. It was way beyond my powers. I was completely down and couldn't even stand the reflection of the light emitting from screens, not to even talk of having the strength to handle my phone or write. I was really down but thank God I'm recovering and I feel much better, which is why I'm not letting this prompt pass me by.

So, a mistake which turned out not being one after all yeah? What's a mistake? A mistake is basically an error. This word 'mistake' is actually a commonly used word which a lot of people use even after carrying out deliberate actions or error, but when they are caught they call it a mistake. Nobody is above mistakes definitely, not adults, not children, nobody at all but then again how frequent you make mistakes can be managed and one mistake happening twice is no longer a mistake but a deliberate act of foolishness(I stand to be corrected).

A child dropping an egg on the floor while trying to put it on the table is a mistake. A person walking fast and mistakenly steps on a stranger is a mistake. But something like sleeping with your friend's husband /partner not once, but multiple times is far from being a mistake. And besides you only claim this is a mistake when you're being caught ooo. Anyways that me diverting a bit.
So, in as much as mistakes aren't so good sometimes, it's safe to say not all mistakes are bad, some mistakes are actually things we are sometimes grateful happened. Sometimes even, mistakes are what got some people their most priced gifts like children.

 So, a mistake I made which turned to be good on me was when I was in school, jss3 precisely. So I was a home management student and it was the period of our practicals for the junior Waec and each student was expected to cook a three course meal for the practical. I made pepper soup, fried rice and beef, then finally fruit salad. My mistake was in the preparation. When cooking my rice, I forgot I was actually going for fried rice, so I mistakenly used tomatoes paste for my base and all through my cooking process I didn't notice, not until I added water and was wondering why the rice wasn't giving me the expected green color, it was more like the color was a confused mix. It was when I asked my HM teacher she saw the sachet and sat it's no longer fried but jollof rice and this meant changing my already submitted intended course meal o. But thankfully my teacher helped with that and I also needed to add more spices to make the rice actually red, which I didn't have, my teacher had to go get it for me and that was how a tomato paste mistake changed my plan. But the good thing about this was, surprisingly I was the only who made jollof rice. Jollof rice I thought everyone would have made ooo. It was fried rice that was made by about five people. Omo, I was thankful that mistake happened if not I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten the score I got, cause I was just a fried rice learner and all the fried rice there were looking amazing.
