I know how devastated you are, ye art evanesced from the poor, and the rich lost the memory of you. Mr Five Naira (#5), the only time I remember you is when your name is used to balance an account.

Beloveth Five Naira, it is unfathomable why you grew old so quick, but it is normal that you join your ancestors. May the soul of One Naira (#1) rest in peace, we will miss picture of Tafawa Balewa just as we'd miss Harbert Macaulay's. At this stage, giving you out to my kid brother do not guarantee Hi Five, it is this worse. I have heard of miraculous healing and recovery, but when a currency is in coma in my country, it dies of loneliness and its remnants are taken to museum so next generations would feed their eyes.

I understand that you've gone through two reconstructive surgeries. First, dimension of your side got reduced, then you got transformed to polymer, this made you fade out faster.  All these are signals that the inevitable will happen to you, your death has been slow and painful, you cannot be helped. Nevertheless, the other notes will join you, this is visible to the blind because your creator is aggressive in pursuig cashless policy. Additionally, crytocurrency (decentralized digital currency) is the Mr Joseph whose hammer is raised so high, and nail so strong and sharp, ready to do the needful.

Finally, it is so sad that death is the most painful experience, but living without purpose is. Mr Five Naira, you've have exhausted your usefulness.
