Life's experiences often or almost always exist to learn and improve, but others are shocking, strange or just there to be seen.

On my path I have had too many strange experiences, I can no longer count them on the fingers of my hands.

And many here who know me know that the strangest ones have to do with the paranormal. Yes, I'm a freak, it's very clear to me and it's part of my life.

Yesterday I was talking to someone about a subject of this kind and I remembered one of my many experiences, it was one that gave me peace and brought a smile to my face, despite being the strangest experience of my life....

It was 2002, my grandmother was ill and was taking care of her night and day, I knew she was in her final moments.

I was like her nurse, I had been taught how to pass food and medication through a nasogastric tube. 

One night I was next to her in this task and in front of me there was a picture with a wedding photograph of my grandparents and their respective crystal. 

As I stood there, giving her the medication, I could see my reflection in it.

Suddenly I looked up and saw myself in it and someone else behind me, my grandfather was there, he had passed away in 1985.

The next day I went out into the garden, it was daylight, and when I looked into the window of my grandmother's room, there behind the window, he was looking at me.

On both occasions I saw him clear as if he was really there in body and it was nice to see him after so many years, I was 7 years old when he left this world.  In the experiences I am recounting, I was 24 years old.

Days after these events we hospitalised my grandmother and after 11 days she passed away, but I was left with this peace of mind that is inexplicable. I know they are together and I know they are well and that is priceless.

It is said that people with a high sensitivity can perceive and see certain types of things that most people cannot, and that is my case. I got used to it over time, although sometimes the experiences are not pleasant. 

Some call it a gift, others call it a gift, and for me it is the product of a soul that has been through a lot and has that sixth sense. The truth is that I enjoyed seeing my grandfather, I always felt him close to me, taking care of me, but seeing him was one of the strangest but beautiful experiences of my life.
