The great thing about being five minutes from Ikea is that you can organize your room easily. I went yesterday and got two floating shelves and a table for my room. 
The speakers really needed to stand out instead of being stuck behind the monitors. After listening to music for the past three hours, they make a huge difference. I pointed them in towards me to focus the sound to my ears and since the sound isn't being blocked by the monitors anymore, they sound even better. I can also move my monitors back now and get more space on my desk. The bar on the wall to the right is a record stand my roommates got me. So when I play a record, I have somewhere to show what's playing. It also covers up the empty space over there.

With the new server (black tower), I have to keep it next to the network switch so that takes up more space in the corner. Well the table made a great addition because now the record player is elevated off the ground but also level with everything else. Everything is easily accessible and I don't need to move stuff around to get to something else. 

Cable management is still a work in progress. 

Overall, it was a successful shopping weekend!
