Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is PHANTASM

Well, if somebody still remember I'm not palying by main account with Death Splinter. That's the one which was decided while ago not to level up and to give priority to all the rest splinters. Many says that Death splinter is weakest. Well, at top levels maybe, but at 1st level I would prefer it second after Water in fact

So lets go to see what PHANTASM could offer at initial level. This is newer reward card and not really used much still. But that's why challenges made for, to try something new :)
Pretty high Mana card, good for heavier fights. Very high life and speed, while average Melee attack and Flying ability. Well, at first sight not a bad tank really, especially for Earthquake conditions. In heavier fights could be well used if Melee Mayhem or Super Sneak to apply. Counting that Zintar Mortalis reduces opponents Melee, Death is always pretty good choice

Was quite lucky to get necessary right conditions to test already on 3rd fight today


FIGHT. Earthquake / Taking Sides + 24 Mana

Here is final line-up using Zintar Mortalis as summoner
- PHANTASM. High speed, High Life, average Melee. Flying ability
- PHANTOM SOLDIER. Average speed and Magic attack, very high Life. Flying ability
- FALLEN SPECTER. Very high speed with low Magic attack and very low Life. Flying ability
- SOULSTORM. High speed, high Range attack and low Life. Flying ability

Basically all 4 available Death monsters with Flying abilities was line-up just exactly as per total fight mana. PHATASM went first obviously due high Life. Lower Life monsters placed at back positions, hoping for no Sneak or Opportunity monsters against. 

Well, opponent made quite nice choice choosing Drake of Arnak, providing additional Armor, which is really good for Earthquake with even 6 lower mana monsters and three of them flying too. But they all were lower life and averagely quite slower. And even two misses were in my favor. PHANTASM did good job taking first round hits and Earthquake did the rest... 

As result only PHANTASM lost, rest in Peace :D
