Screen time shows the reality of us - effective Social Media

To be honest I always spend the time on my screen the most then anything in the world. I don’t know if I am addicted or not but if I am without my device it feels like the time passes really slow and I get bored, sleepy. I never get enough of it at all. I never feel that I should keep my phone away for a while until I am getting ready for bed. I really feel that if I keep my phone away then I will be missing something out. Like I don’t ever feel like to do it at all.

With this condition of mine I thought as a kid I was the only one but no my parents are also on screen all of the time. Like while cooking or doing a work they are always doing something on screen. There is 24HRS in a day and I use it all of the time that means if I sleep for 8hrs then that is the break time for my phone. Even when I use the washroom I still prefer to bring my phone with me and watch something.

Well, my mom does get mad if she sees me carrying the phone in the bathroom because I might make my phone fall in somewhere and can not ever put my hand back in there! My mom taunts me a lot and talks about the consequences for bringing the phone with me but I never listened to her. I would be upset whenever the Wi-Fi is gone I get desperate to purchase mobile data and when I don’t have money to buy it then I would request my dad to do it for me.

I am an esports athlete I play game all of the time and get salary for it so, that’s the main reason I can never leave my phone alone. Even if I am not playing I still have phone in my hands because I like to scroll news feed. Even though I will gain nothing by watching useless things but still I prefer to watch something than sitting quietly. Moreover, I work on social media so it’s very hard for me to get rid of my phone that’s another reason. Otherwise if I was no one at social media then I would not be this much active.

I would suggest that if you want to refrain from using your phone then you must bear it in your mind that using phone wastes a lot of time and the more you spend your time on it the more you are losing your precious time. It goes same for all but if you really want to keep your phone or any other device away then you must learn to control yourself. If you like to read books then do it that will increase your knowledge and also boost up your confidence. Too much screen time can cause you to have eye sight problems. I also have eye sight problems but that’s not due to using devices or anything like that.

You can do Yoga or Exercise and maybe you can start travelling? Or get a hobby such as drawing or gardening it can be anything which does not require any devices help. You can do it by yourself. Meet up with your friends have a fun time with them or go on a picnic with your family. I think we should spend time with our close ones more than using phones. Like we should not let our close ones in hinderance. I think in this way we will lose them and in the end there will be no one with us expect our mobile. I have seen parents not taking care of their babies they would not feed them on time and later on ends up having a nanny for them.

Sometimes, I do feel like that I should not spend this much time on my phone. But what can I do! I end up doing it everyday. Sometimes, when I watch animes I think of watching one last episode but then sunrises and it’s already morning and I am still awake. I spend all night to complete whatever I am watching. Anyways, I am thinking to spend less time on my phone and be creative. I think if one has the eager to do something then they can really do it. But if we don’t want to do it and only saying by words then it would never work.

As like if I want to achieve something I have to take few steps towards it. If I don’t do it then how will I progress? It’s not easy to get rid of habits like this so we should at least take small steps for our own good.

And  everyone was screaming at me when they saw my screen time at 11hrs @nhaji01 come and see maya screen time. 
My screen time isn’t even up to this but for real. Maya, that’s so much screen time. How many hours do you sleep in a day, check your sleeping time on your phone

I think that is a problem that I feel guilty as well with my daughters, how I can say that she can't be in a screen when I am only using it? We need to be the models for our kids.

We all are suffering from this decease, i have seen many girls and boys using mobile while doing their daily works, i even know some who don't even dare to stop using phones in the washroom. we get exploit in a very bad way. it's a wake up call for all of us. we should stop using phones.

Jesus, 15 hours and 12 minutes is too much, I was even shouting that @fashtioluwa's screen time is too much not knowing that fash own is more better  than yours. Don't you guys use to sleep because  am confused.

There are days I can't stay away from my phone and could be in the restroom with it. And there are days when I won't even know where my phone is, till I give it a ring.
