Hi! A few days ago I saw that there is an initiative by @edwing357 that is about cooking your least favorite dish and trying to make it in a way that you like. I invite @noahpsique and @adalathu to participate if they are up for it.

In my case, there are many things I don't like. For me to like a food, it has to enter through my eyes, nose and then mouth. But if any of these three things fail.... I don't like it anymore haha.

For example: Very strong and stinky cheeses that smell like sweaty feet in summer. No matter how much someone promise me that the flavour is very good, I can't eat them. Octopus, which is so much eaten in my country, just the way those tentacles look, gelatinous and ugly, does not encourage me to try it.... I don't want to imagine trying the Surströmming the day I'll visit Sweden, because I'm used to try the typical dishes of each country. I think that as soon as I open the can of that fish I will be vomiting because of its stench.🤧

Well, and what about cauliflower. I have hated it since I was a child. I hated going into my building and a neighbor was cooking it because that stench of foul-smelling fart was everywhere.
I tried to taste it also when my mother cooked it but the taste didn't convince me either, and its texture was very mushy🤢.... Besides, I kept noticing its smell.

And today, thanks to this original initiative, at my 31 years old, **I have bought for the first time in my life a cauliflower and I have cooked it**. I followed the ancestral technique to try to eat something I don't like: camouflaging its flavour and putting it together with other things I do like 🤣 Who doesn't like a good pizza?

>Bueno y qué decir de la coliflor. La he odiado desde pequeña. Odiaba el entrar a mi edificio y que algún vecino estuviese cocinándola porque esa peste a pedo fétido y maloliente se colaba por todas partes.
Intenté probarla también cuando la cocinaba mi madre pero es que el sabor tampoco me convencía, y su textura era muy blandurria🤢... Además, seguía notando su olor.

<li>6 Tomates cherry</li>
<li>1 Loncha de bacon ahumado</li>
<li>Orégano</li>
<li>Sal y pimienta al gusto</li>
<li>Rúcula</li>
</ul>

**Note: I made the bacon and cherry tomato pizza with arugula, but you can make it with any toppings you want: ham and cheese, tuna and olives, a margarita.... Whatever you want!*

>**Nota: Yo me hice la pizza de bacon y tomatitos cherry con rúcula, pero puedes hacerla con los ingredientes que desees: Jamón y queso, atún y aceitunas, una margarita... ¡De lo que quieras!*

Step 1: We are going to remove the leaves from the cauliflower and grate it with the help of a mincer or a grater.

>Paso 1: Vamos a quitarle las hojas a la coliflor y a rallarla con ayuda de una picadora o de un rallador.

Step 2: Put the grated cauliflower in a microwave container (in my case I put it in a plastic bag because I don't have a container) for 8 minutes at maximum power. When we take it out, careful not to burn, put it in a bowl and add the egg, grated mozzarella cheese, season with salt and pepper and beat with a fork to mix well.

>Paso 2: Metemos la coliflor rallada en un envase para el microondas (en mi caso la metí en una bolsa de plástico porque no tengo envase) por 8 minutos a máxima potencia. Cuando la saquemos, con cuidado de no quemarnos, la ponemos en un bol y le añadimos el huevo, el queso mozzarella rallado, salpimentamos y lo batimos con un tenedor para que se mezcle bien.

Step 3: Spread the mixture on a baking paper that we will put on the baking tray, giving it the shape of the pizza.


>Paso 3: Extendemos la mezcla sobre un papel de hornear que pondremos sobre la bandeja del horno, dándole la forma de la pizza.

Step 4: We put the base in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180º until we see that it is a little golden, and remove it from the oven.

>Paso 4: Metemos la base en el horno previamente precalentado, durante 20 min a 180º hasta que veamos que está un poco dorada, y la sacamos del horno.

Step 5: Now it's time to put the tomato sauce on top of the base, followed by the grated mozzarella cheese, and the topping we want to put. In my case I used a slice of smoked bacon because I have it in the fridge and otherwise it will expire 🤣 and some cherry tomatoes. I sprinkled a little oregano on top and put it back in the oven until the cheese was gratinized.

>Paso 5: Ahora es el momento de poner la salsa de tomate por encima de la base, seguida del queso mozzarella rallado, y el topping que le queramos poner. En mi caso utilicé una loncha de bacon ahumado porque lo tengo en la nevera y sino se me va a caducar 🤣y unos tomatitos cherry. Le espolvoreé encima un poco de orégano y la volví a meter al horno hasta que se gratinase el queso.

I couldn't take pictures of myself cooking because I had my hands full, but I took the selfie when I served it to myself. Atenea (my dog) was keeping an eye on it haha. Also I didn't remember about the photo until after a while and that's why I appear wearing my pyjama, because I didn't want to dress up just for this photo😅.

>No pude hacerme fotos a mí misma cocinando porque tenía las manos ocupadas, pero me hice el selfie cuando me la serví. Atenea (mi perrita) no le quitaba ojo jaja. Además no me acordaba de lo de la foto hasta después de un rato y por eso salgo en pijama, porque ya no me iba a vestir de propio 😅.

Verdict: I prefer the bread dough🤣. Because the cauliflower one is not crispy, but soft. But it's not bad... and cooking it in this way doesn't give off that nauseating smell, so I think mission accomplished!

>Veredicto: Prefiero la masa de pan🤣. Porque la de coliflor no queda crujiente, sino blandita. Pero no está mal y cocinándola así no despide ese olor tan nauseabundo, ¡así que creo que misión cumplida!

Hola! Sí el parmesano sí, pero en España por ejemplo hay un queso que se llama "Cabrales" que es super fuerte de sabor y muy oloroso. Recuerdo que una vez en una feria de quesos que hacen por aquí, un amigo compró uno y de camino montados en su coche casi que nos tenemos que bajar antes de llegar al destino, porque el olor era muy intenso 😂😂 horrible jaja pero la gente dice que cuanto más huele mejor queso curado es xD gracias por comentar y me alegro que te haya gustado la receta !

jajajajaja  me puedo imaginar el olor! dicen que mientras mas madurado el olor y el sabor se potencia. Hablado de quesos; no imagino como será el olor del Casu Marzu -queso podrido- es añejado con larvas...  🤐

@ayneblood ,hola si te puede quedar crocante. Colocas la mezcla de colifor rallado, huevo y queso en una bandeja plana nmantequillada y enharinada. La llevas al oro por 10 minutos. La sacas , Colocas el resto de los ingredientes y nuevamente  al horno hasta gratinar el queso y bum queda como un pedazo de casabe..un fuertes  abrazo

Hola! Bueno así al llevar harina ya subirían un poco las calorías jaja pero sería una forma de hacerla un poco más crujiente.  
De esta manera también es libre de gluten por si alguien es celíaco. Pero se puede adaptar de muchas maneras.. he leído que hasta con una batata/boniato/camote también puede hacerse la base de pizza así. Esa quizás me guste más que la coliflor 😋

Hello! I don't like a lot of fish... But tuna, hake or sea bass I have managed to like. Baked they don't usually smell so much when cooked, and with spices and white wine, or adding potatoes or something you like maybe you can "hide" the smell.

Yes, my little dog was waiting for me to share with her haha. On the other side were my cats waiting too😂

Muchas gracias! Sí tengo varios alimentos que no me gustan 🤣 pero igual que cuando alguna vez de más joven me iba a comer a casa de alguna amiga y sus padres me ofrecían comer algo que no me gustaba, lo comía por respeto acompañándolo de mucho pan y mucha agua para evitar notar el sabor, creo que la clave es camuflarlo con otras cosas jaja y de paso engañar al cerebro haciendo que lo que vayas a comer sea bonito, en este caso como me gusta la pizza esta receta venía genial!

Claro la receta se puede adaptar según gustos, por ejemplo yo utilicé queso mozzarella pero hay otros sin lactosa que son así rallados también, o se puede usar cualquier otro para la base de la coliflor. Gracias por comentar y por hacer este concurso tan creativo ☺️

Es como cuando haces inventos con la comida para que los niños consuman verduras jajaja una idea muy original.

Pero una duda, la primera cocción de o coliflor en el microondas ¿despide el mismo olor que cuando se hace hervida?

Yo una vez hice una base de pizza parecida con pollo molido, intentaba hacer una pizza proteica xD, y la forma de que me quedara crujiente fue cocerla a una temperatura media durante un largo rato por cada lado hasta que estuviese realmente crujiente. 

Me imagino que el problema con él coliflor es que tendrá mucha agua y será difícil que quede crujiente. Seguro que frita se logra jajajaja pero ya no sería saludable 🤣

Cuando la hice al microondas apenas olía. No tengo ni idea de cómo sería freír una coliflor porque era la primera vez en mi vida que compraba una y la cocinaba. No me pasa lo mismo con su primo el brócoli, que éste sí que me gusta y lo puedo comer de diferentes maneras. Pero la coliflor era un trauma que tenía desde niña 🤣 así que me hice receta para niños jajja.

I didn't know about #CreativeSunday. I have now subscribed to the Hive Learners community. I've seen that besides recipes, it can also be about art and other stuff (I'm a writer and also I paint on canvases). I don't know if I'll have time tomorrow to prepare something, because I'll only be home a short time, but I'm going to keep it in mind so that if I can't tomorrow, next Sunday I can start posting something creative there. 😄This is every Sunday, right?

Hola!! Sí definitivamente es mucho menos calórica que una pizza normal, porque evitas la harina y sus carbohidratos. Lo único que más calorías aporta ahí es la loncha de bacon que puse jaja pero haciéndola de jamón York y queso o algo más light, sale una pizza bastante equilibrada. 

Al otro lado de la mesa tenía a los gatitos mirándome también. Algún día tendría que grabarlos mientras estoy cocinando jaja porque están mis 3 gatos y la perra en la cocina esperando a que termine y me sirva el plato. Ya saben que después de comer yo, les sirvo a ellos su comida 😂

Hola! Sí yo por eso no me entraba por el olfato la coliflor. Pero tampoco por el sabor porque la gente aquí normalmente la cocina hervida y así está blandurria e insípida entonces al menos con esta receta me la he podido comer. Me encantó tu publicación, me agrada el hecho que sea una masa libre de gluten, creo que la voy a replicar con alguna variante para hacerla apta para niños con autismo a quienes cocino, ya que ellos deben evitar el gluten, lácteos y azúcar, además que el coliflor aporta buenos nutrientes ideales para la flora intestinal. Hola! Entonces tendrías que sustituir el queso mozzarella por otro que no tenga lactosa. Yo en la nevera tengo de ese también porque me confundí un día y lo compré, emmental rallado sin lactosa. Pero está bueno también 😊.

Además es una excelente idea para hacerle comer a los niños esta verdura, porque cocinada así no despide ese olor como cuando está hervida. A mí no me gustaba y así es como me la pude comer jaja.
Además eso, no lleva nada de gluten 😁.
