# The Chase is Real

I consider myself a part of the _League of Verico_. For those who does not know, the League of Verico is a secret organization in the Splinterlands lore, specifically tied to the land expansion narrative of Praetoria. Basically a cartel or a CABAL! There you have it, you know how much I like a cartel! It was formed by land-owning battle mages to protect Praetoria and conceal the extraordinary powers of Castles and Keeps from outsiders. Membership is exclusive to battle mages who hold significant land stakes in Praetoria, and the organization operates under three core tenets: dedication to the cause, contribution to the cause, and loyalty through action.

# Current Status

The pre-sale started yesterday, and still there is 17+ plus days left. This time around, there is no advantage of getting in early, as long as the purchase with within the 20 day pre-sale window. So the only risk for waiting for the last moment is the fear that packs will _run out_. As of now, I don't see that danger. But still I purchase some just to get the process started.
