As a kid I liked football but I had always found it difficult to watch full 90 minutes games. I had often slept off during games but when it came to playing (football) video games  or playing football it was always a thrill.

As I grew it became almost impossible not to engage in football conversations with my friends in school so I gave watching football another try and I was hooked it was as though a veil had been lifted from my eyes and i could finally see, I had fallen in love instantly with the beautiful game.

Before I knew it I had taken an interest in then (and now) Champions league winners Chelsea and since then I've been a die-hard fan

Often times I wonder, what is so special about football? Why is it the most popular sport? Why do I love it so much? Why do people love it so much? If I'm to ask a thousand people what football means to them I would probably get almost a thousand different answers but to me football is all about passion, love, unity, it has its way of bringing people from all over the world together no matter who you are, where you're from, your race, your gender, your religion, all that doesn't matter in football once two people support the same team they're automatically brother and sister.

Let's not forget banter between friends and family members who support different teams, the joy one feels when the team they support wins and the pain they feel when the team loses

When you're feeling down, football brightens the mood, when you're happy, football can help extend that joy, if you wanna workout and you don't fancy lifting weights or running on the treadmill, football. 

Football builds discipline, coordination, teamwork, mentality.

its also been used countless times to spread messages globally and create awareness
