### AWS Partners with Avalanche To Scale Blockchain Solutions - following Google's footsteps? 


>“Looking forward, web3 and blockchain is inevitable,” Howard Wright, VP and global head of startups at AWS, said to TechCrunch. “No one can call the time or date or quarter that it’s going to happen and it’ll be mainstream, but we’ve seen the cycles of growth before. The velocity of this one seems like it’s accelerating and we’re just excited to be a part of this.”

On stumbling on this report I quickly recalled writing about [Google's sudden involvement with crypto projects](https://leofinance.io/@badbitch/google-cloud-s-blockchain-node-engine-another-sign-of-industry-expansion) and blockchain-based products. From being extremely hard on "crypto related topics" to [running a Solana node](https://www.google.com/amp/s/decrypt.co/113632/google-cloud-just-became-a-solana-validator%3famp=1) and offering [cloud services for crypto payments](https://leofinance.io/@badbitch/google-s-partnership-with-coinbase-could-attract-a-large-scale-of-users-and-developers) and even indexing blockchain data to be accessible directly via a Google search, well, that is a huge step and proves that these companies are looking to venture more deeply as the market demands. 

### Amazon Web Services and Avalanche

In the not so distant past, [Avalanche](https://icoverage.io/Guides/What-is-Avalanche-AVAX-Introducing-one-of-the-most-competent-blockchain-substructures) had secured a [partnership with Alibaba Cloud](https://leofinance.io/@badbitch/alibaba-cloud-now-supports-avalanche-validators-with-computing-services-the-reach-is-expanding), and the same question was asked: "When crypto payments?" Given that Alibaba has a huge online market, that was first thought inevitably. This is because despite these company level partnerships, the actual value comes in when the door for actual users of all levels of low and high pockets is opened and this is particularly "crypto payments" that is both receiving and accepting for major company services. 

That said, Amazon Web Services is the latest to partner with a blockchain network, according to this [report on icoverage](https://icoverage.io/Amazon-Web-ServicesAWS-Reportedly-Partners-With-Avalanche-To-Scale-Blockchain-Solutions ), it is the first blockchain related partnership AWS is found in. Interestingly, the company believes Avalanche is of excellence looking back on the over 200,000 start up companies that have walked through their door. Now we won't need to begin examining whether or not Avalanche does qualify, as far as the ecosystem is concerned, these exposures are generally great for business. 

### That gap that needs filing

There are practically three gaps in the [cryptocurrency](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency) ecosystem that are limiting a wide range of expansion, this includes blockchain education, crypto payments and solutions for enterprises and governments, we've had some [blockchains](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) like [Vechain propose such solutions](https://icoverage.io/Guides/What-Is-Vechain-A-Comprehensive-Guide) with technologies such as Fee Delegation, Multi-Task Transactions, Forcible Transaction Dependency and Transaction Lifecycle Control. 

However, AWS in this partnership aims to tackle just that. This is about developing an ecosystem that makes it easy for any business or organizations of any size to venture into the blockchain space. This is by scaling the network for flexible operations. AWS will support Avalanche’s infrastructure and [decentralized application (dApp)](https://icoverage.io/Guides/Decentralized-Finance-DeFi-DEXs-and-DApps-Explained) ecosystem, alongside one-click node deployments, through its marketplace. The affiliation will also include Ava Labs joining AWS Activate, a program that helps startups and early-stage entrepreneurs get started on its platform as per the report. 

In literal sense, Amazon Web Services is partnering with Avalanche to build an ecosystem of [scalable](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-scability-scaling), high performance and flexible infrastructures whereas individuals, enterprises and the government can easily integrate or build on top.

It is interesting to watch Big tech dive in because at the end of the day, crypto and blockchain as a [technology](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-technology) will attract diverse people, with such exposure comes the expanded market for it to materialize its full potential.
