Digitalisation of assets and properties is a couple of steps towards moving businesses and financial structures towards the digital rim, most of this is already happening with the introduction of digital payment systems and digital property markets, but a huge portion of these markets lack key features which includes uniqueness and property verification or certificates.

When you look at online malls with its business model of having numerous companies sell products under their marketing structures, it's a lucrative business on a basic level but comes with its demerits that affects both the customer or consumers and the company at large. How? Well, considering how much profitability has been built into businesses set up as product channels, whereas the company in mention isn't directly the producers or owners of listed items, but through their market mediums, products are being put up for the general public. As individual businesses peg on these companies for a larger audience, the chances of scams have been on the rise.

This is pulled out in many ways, maybe listed items are not physically available, so individual businesses keep ripping people of their cash for no products on delivery. This has been the case for most online malls, the inability to certify products is quite a downside to its business structures. However, this model is fastly being outlived with the introduction of blockchain technology!

**NFTs as Digital Certificates…**

NFTs are powerful but the world at large is yet to understand this. As a small or large business, the blockchain helps to create some amount of certification. With digital identities and business block registration, it presents the world with a technology to combat scams through it's risk management tools. This of course is by design the nature of the blockchain, open source so it's transparent, every transaction is traceable and all identities are given a medium to properly monitor.

With blockchain technology, product scams will be on the downside, imagine an economy of physical properties coexisting with digital certificates, it's almost impossible to clone a product because **each will be unique** with its block certificate (an NFT). This is the idea built around NFTs that regardless of its initial stage of being viewed as a tool to empower artists, truth is, it's far bigger than that!

Imagine a company that each time a product is made, an NFT is minted. This not only grows a healthy business field for customers or consumers, it is also very much healthy for company runners because these digital certificates help the company watch over its productions thereby accounting if it corresponds with the physical company ledger. Matter of fact, at some point, a physical ledger might not be so necessary!

<sup>The Alfa Romeo Tonale SUV is the “first car on the market” to come with an NFT digital certificate, which the Italian automaker says will increase the car’s residual value.
How? Well, that’s not exactly clear, but it involves recording information from the car’s electronic system to the blockchain as proof that a car has been properly serviced when it comes time to sell it.
“With the customer’s consent, the NFT will record vehicle data, generating a certificate that can be used to assure the car has been properly maintained,” Alfa Romeo’s press release says. “On the pre-owned car market, NFT certification represents an additional source of credibility for owners or dealers to count on.”</sup>


This is one of those steps towards what is actually coming. With the blockchain minting NFTs each time a certain **work** is being done, now this is **automation with security**. Those blockchain data serve as a reference to better read the history of each product in the market. The world around NFTs will be much more interesting than what we currently have all over the markets, keep an eye out...
