Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an adventure mystery game. It's based on the Sherlock Holmes novel, which was a big hit. Still, there is a lot of fans for the mastermind Sherlock Holmes.

Here I am converting the game into a fictional story, there's plenty of moments which words can't describe. So I will be narrating the story with a little bit differently. The plot and incidents will be the same. Some dialogues and some other small stuff will be changed to make it a better one to read. This will be a series, where each post comes as each chapter.

The header image is from [here](https://wallpapercave.com/sherlock-holmes-crimes-and-punishments-wallpapers) and all other images are screenshots taken from the game.

This time John was emotional, he was getting out of control. There is a lot of sad stories buried inside his heart. The dip from the top is always hurting, everything turning into sand is a hard thing to watch. Sherlock didn't try to interrupt the talking, he knew that John was in real pain, Sherlock knew that these moments are the ones where the truth comes. It's what all his past experiences have taught him.

Eventually, it all went to John saying about his missing father and the assumptions they had that he was sink in the sea. He always tries to talk good of his father, like every son is. He believed that his father could repay the debts if everything happened as he expected.

Sherlock knew that it was enough to take from that young man, He knew that it's time to leave. He got what relly wanted, one more connection to the dot. Neligan was missing while he travelled towards Norway and there will be some connection that could connect him to Peter Carrey. He knew that it's time to visit Woodman's Lee once more, there will be records of Carrey's travels.

Sherlock went outside the prison cell started walking through the corridor towards the main hall. A lot of things were in his mind, he could feel things getting more deep and clear. There is now a lot of doubts about the whole scenario. The cart was ready outside, he went inside and the next second he took out the notebook and started going through his notes.

John's attitude has changed a lot, as compared to the beginning. He isn't crying or yelling anymore, he's just waiting for something to happen and then things could become good for him. He may understand the fact that there isn't much meaning in yelling anymore, maybe he realised that there is nothing out there for him.

The cart stopped, Sherlock went outside and started walking towards the cabin. Now it had become like he knows each stone in the path. Everything in the garden and the other things are the same as he left last time. It's been very hard to say a murder has happened here.

He entered the cabin, each time he enters the cabin, he looks at the wall was Carrey was found. He still feels the presence of his body. He could see the boos in the shelves, he searched for the year which he wanted the notes about. 1883, he found the book from the middle of the shelves.

He started turning pages, he knew that something important was waiting for him in those notes. It was the crew list of the sea unicorn and other notes. Sherlock went through the names as he could find something, something that could connect to Neligan. There wasn't anything he expected, he started turning pages very fastly as he could find something important soon.

There were log notes for each month, he went through each month. June and July were disappointing as before.

"Nothing Unusual" Sherlock whispered this to himself. Then he went into the next month's log notes. There was something unusual in August, the paper was turned away from that page. He looked t it clearly, something important was there. There was something left of the torn page.

"CPR..., Canadian Pacific Railway" It was a bond certificate, everything that left is just this heading. The rest wast tore away. The term CPR started giving some lights to Sherlock's head. It remembers him something from the past. He knew that there is something that he could connect all these with.

He realised that there is something important in August of 1883 in this whale hunt campaign. The things that happened in this month could give the idea about what happened in the month. The person that could talk about all the details is dead. Sherlock knew that the only way to get a clear idea is talking with this other crew members on the list. He knew that it could shed some light into the situation.

Sherlock went out of the Cabin, he slowly walked towards the cart and got inside. He wanted to visit Scotland Yard again, he wanted to meet John once more. Now he could connect John to what he was searching for, there will some story John may have to talk about.
