I live in Oregon. I'm sure some of you are aware of the issues we've been experiencing with rioting and the birth pangs of economic, ethnic, and many other issues - but now...

It looks like we are also on fire.

To put this in perspective, we called and went to three different major stores here trying to buy a fan for my fiance's mother. Yes, a fan... Like - those things that blow air...

Her mom needed one because of all the smoke. Guess what? Every single fan was sold out of those three stores except ONE.

Yes, there was only ONE fan left in our town. It isn't like we were being picky. There was literally ONE fan of any kind in any of those stores - and her mom is lucky we were able to get it.

According to [BBC News](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54097598#:~:text=Western%20US%20states%20are%20battling,heat%20waves%20and%20windy%20conditions.), there are over 100 wildfires happening right now that have resulted in at least seven deaths.

Several towns have reportedly burned to the ground in Oregon where we live, and 3.4 million acres have been burned so far. Wildlife is moving, and there are warnings on Social Media and the news about dangerous wildlife like cougars and bears roaming through tows.


The skies have been orange, and the temperatures have been sporadic and confused.

My fiance's dad has a girlfriend, who was put on Level 1 alert for evacuation (basically, this means have everything packed and waiting for the "Go!" order).

These fires are burning from the state of Washington all the way down to the border of Mexico. So, why are these fires happening?

I guess, some experts say they are signs of more severe global climate changes. In Oregon, some people think (at least some) of the fires were caused by the group "Antifa" who has been related to the BLM movement riots.

Clearly, it is unlikely that any group has caused the majority of this carnage. I guess we'll find out how it develops, but **as of ten hours ago when the first video was posted, it doesn't seem to be slowing down.**

Anyway, just thought I'd throw out a heads-up. Anybody that's on the West Coast with me, we're praying for you.
