Hive has a festival on the first date of every month where people power up from a small amount to a bigger amount. I was fortunate enough to power up 2000 Hive now. I have to admit that it was very tricky to complete the power-up. The main reason was that I did not have enough liquidity and now as there is huge demand, I did have enough Hive with me but somehow arranged to transfer the funds from Hive Engine and complete the transfer. 

With this, I have reached 90 percent of the goals. I still have very little value to reach before the end of the year. I will need a minimum of at least another 10k to complete the goals. Today I reached 90k Hive power and a small push can do wonders. With the new commitments that I'm having over the course of a few months, I guess I will have to wait for it to reach 100k and I cannot push it hard. After reaching a total of 100k Hive power, I have to start focusing on other things.

I'm hoping there will be a time when the cash flow will increase and I wish I could contribute more on the Hive Power-up day. Mostly after the need for Hive power is over, the next immediate need would be to save HBD. Already the last few months were very hectic and it was hard to prepare funds for power up. This is what makes me think that it wouldn't be possible to immediately complete my goal before the end of the year but instead one or two months after that.

The highest of all the power has happened only this year and there are still two more months to prepare and power up some more Hive. Let me take it really slow and see how and when I can complete my goal.

The author's reward and the curation reward is the major contribution to my earnings. As always the goal is to increase my curation rewards as it is more like a passive income and keep the author rewards consistent. The value of author rewards is hard to maintain as there are several parameters through which a vote happens on a post and some posts do really well and some posts don't do well. The price of Hive was also pretty much the same throughout the month. Only now in the last few days, it is showing a sign of an increase in a few cents.

The above screenshot is my witness earnings on my secondary account. The witness earnings are looking better than last month because I moved up in ranking a little bit due to a few additional votes. Currently, the cost of running a witness node is mostly breakeven and not a highly profitable thing. 

I used to have a lot of HBD in savings in my secondary account. That used to decorate my portfolio. I cashed it out a few months back and converted it to Hive gradually. Hopefully, next year should be a good year for HBD in savings, let's see.
