As steem blockchain transformed to Hive blockchain, there were many services and dApps introduced on Hive blockchain. Steem Engine is one such dApp that had a big dependency on various tribes. Most of the tribes have been slowly moving towards Hive Engine. Some of then decided to stay on both the blockchains and some decided to just completely migrate to Hive by airdropping the tokens that people already held on Steem Engine. Considering all these transformations, Kani Bot has been upgraded to now to send Hive Engine notifications as well.

Additionally, Kani is also getting a new face now. I guess the previous profile picture of Kani bot was Edi Bot's image and which was also very popular on the internet. I thought of having something different and came up with a cute picture. 

So, coming to the technical part, I have added some Hive Engine notifications to the Bot as a new feature. Previous the bot was sending notifications from Steem Engine. Now that we have both Steem Engine as well as Hive Engine, I have added both to the bot. As we still have many tribes and tokens on Steem Engine, we cannot get rid of those notifications completely. At the same time, as most of the tribes have moved to Hive Engine now, it is ideal to have Hive Engine support in the bot. To differentiate between both the notifications, I have added a footer to every notification to say whether it is from Hive Engine or Steem Engine along with their respective logos.

The above is a simple example of how it looks. Steem City has now been renamed to dCity and has already moved to Hive Engine. The NFT notifications will now continue from the Hive Engine instead of Steem Engine. I've had a piece of code exclusively for Steem City game while it was running on Steem Engine, I have now moved that code as well to Hive Engine. 

I have not added notification support yet for mining reward, curation reward, and Author reward on Hive Engine yet. I couldn't get a working API for that. If I find one in the future, I will try to add that notification as well to the bot.
