My portfolio value getting very high due to Hive pump
About half an hour back I was surprised to see the price of Hive hit more than 40 cents. I was wondering it would take a few more days to reach a little higher value but to my surprise, it happened when I was away from my laptop. I'm very fortunate to see it reach 40 cents in front of my eyes. 

The saddest thing in this even is that I sold 300 Hive today for 22 cents. When I woke up today morning I noticed that Hive was going down and I thought it can be a little downtrend. So, I thought of selling some of my holdings and purchase them back if there is a correction and the price recovers back. I never expected to see the price double on the same day.

Almost 100% pump is not something very usual. Imagine someone having a million worth stake, it would have become 2 million in no time because of this 100% pump. I guess the focus is now on altcoins and that is the reason why many altcoins are showing decent growth. I also observed that Steem also had a very good pump. But the sad thing is that it is still higher in price than Hive. 

I guess it needs lots of effort to maintain this price of Hive. The reason is that many people are already waiting to dump their tokens for a very good price. I remember people doing the same thing when the price hit 1$ last time. I also have similar thoughts to sell my Hive holdings a little bit when the price hits 50 cents. It was totally unexpected for me to sell then at 22 cents today and see it double the price towards the end of the day. This is what is called luck. Even though I apply oil all over my body and roll on sand, only what the oil deserves in my body will stick with my body. The other things will obviously fall down. 

## Need more people talking about this pump on social media

I guess this is the right time to have more conversations about Hive pump on social media. Many people have already started talking about Hive on social media and it would be great for us to do the same. The focus is always on the top coins that reached a good pump every day. Many investors will always be looking forward to joining the trading race to see some good profits. Even if this was a false pump, I guess campaigning more about Hive at this time would a great thing.

I also think that many people would start getting active on Hive and Hive based communities as the price is pumping. In the last 3 years, I have been seeing this happening. It becomes like a season where they stay active when the price of Hive is high and then stop their activity if the price goes below 15 or 20 cents. I guess this time the price can be a little more stable and stay there for a considerable amount of time creating a great opportunity for everyone. Even though there would be a decent selling pressure, I guess the market will be able to take care of it. 

Maybe Hive is pumping today because a year back Ned and Sun scammed and tried to take over the blockchain from the community. The community fought back by showing resistance and that is how Hive was born. Let us all hope for a good pump this time and with the price of Hive stays high.
