#mushroommonday Beginning of the End

Greetings Steemit People.

Well I got out in the woods for a little bit today and it wasn’t looking too good.

Fall is in full swing and it seems like the fungi are slowly dying off. A few cold nights mixed with the ever shortening days mean that the mushroom season here in Northern Germany will shortly be over.

Usually the mushrooms are the ones feasting on the dead. But today, they were the ones dying.

There were no Amanita Muscaria to be found, so I’m not sure about them either. I thought they had the capability to grow in the snow, I guess we will have to wait and see.

I don’t think this will be my last #mushroommonday post of the year, but I think they won’t last much longer.

I will have to find new ways to fill my time spent mushroom hunting now that the season is over, maybe like doing housework??? 😂😂😂
