In a clear leap of faith, I joined this site from a suggestion post of a fellow user. I won't lie, I have no idea what I am doing, but in the mundane day to day activities maybe this will give me a jump into the future and get my mind off the here and now. This is an incredibly interesting idea that I really hope takes off and continues to make tons of money, a blogging site where I can be myself and potentially make money? Sure, why not?

I am a married mama bear of 2, one of which is my own, and the other my husbands. Being a step-mother is not something that I ever thought would be as rewarding as it is, the whole Disney thing really stuck it the the step-moms in the world, but my girl is perfect in just about every way, aside from the fact that she is a teenager. My son is four, loves KISS and Iron Maiden, has seen KISS in concert because let's be real, we're kick ass parents, and is the light of my life. He is a strong-willed little bugger, but I would not change him for the world. One day it will do him good. I won't post pictures of the chilluns for obvious reasons. 

I am the manager of a salon, and true to my nature a rather artsy individual. Probably not in the way one would think, though. I enjoy creating things out of hair, and not only because that is my job. It's incredibly what a haircut can do to a person's look. If you do not believe me, give yourself for bangs for a day. WOAH, WHOLE NEW PERSON. I also doodle here and there and am in school to become a graphic design artist. Only for freelance though, it's just something I enjoy and think that it would be a fun tie in with my current job. 

Recently, I walked away from a fight with a semi truck who totaled my car but not my life and I am able to do everything I could the day it happened. I implore you all to wear your seat belt, my god the possibilities that could have happened to me are endless. 

I am a feminist, but not man-hating for all of you who think that means I hate penis. I am an activist and believe that black lives matter, as do the police. I support all rights of every single person on this plant, whether gay, straight, transgender, or whatever you may claim. I wish we could all see us as a single race, but the hatred is too thick to look through and it is depressing. I believe in complimenting as many people as possible each day, because you never know just how many people out there needed to hear it. I believe in the love of music and the passion of art. 

Most of all, I believe in the adventure of books. I am a bibliophile and very proud of it. I love non-fiction as much as fiction and am constantly writing reviews and reading when I'm not parenting, schooling, creating, or doing. It doesn't leave much time for it, but I make time. I am a connoisseur of baths, am a horror junkie, I LOVE WRESTLING, and my son swears up and down I'm a witch. My favorite holiday is Halloween, and without the fall I would probably die a very sad death. Summer gives me seasonal depression, I hate it, which brings me to my final point, I am almost ALWAYS the exception to every rule.
