The ballad of boletus

Last time I promised to devote the post to boletus. Yes, they deserve it. Well, it's time to keep promises. Perhaps today or tomorrow I will again disappear in the forest and there will be no Internet. But I hope there will be mushrooms in the forest and my camera won't let me down.

Прошлый раз я обещал посвятить пост белым грибам. Да, они этого заслуживают. Что же, пора выполнять обещания. Возможно сегодня или завтра я вновь пропаду в лесу и там не  будет интернета. Но я надеюсь, что в лесу будут грибы и моя камера меня не подведёт.

The day was still dry. This was before the rainy season. Maybe the mushrooms regretted looking out of the ground. Maybe, on the contrary, they were happy. I was definitely happy.

Porcini mushrooms came across mostly adults and mature. Some were drilled with worms. If there are not many worms, then there is one trick. You can cut the mushrooms and put them in salt water for a couple of hours. Then you need to drain the worms together with water, rinse the mushrooms and that's it. You can enjoy them.

This series of photos presents one friendly family. Here, on a small patch, 7 porcini mushrooms grew at once. They didn't fit into the frame at the same time. When some are clearly visible, others are hidden by branches or grass.

And at the end one more old man. I did not take it to the basket. He was hanged on a branch as a gift to squirrels and birds. When it's dry, someone will have a nice lunch.

wow! you definitely know a good spots where to go after Porcini... I assume you found these at a sprout forest, isnt it so?..  this season I havent found nor Porcini, neither Redheads... seems we just doomed to pick up Russulas  :/

This season has been dry for a long time. At that time, porcini mushrooms could appear where there is little grass, or on the edges of the swamp.
Now there is a lot of water in the forest and where there is a mycelium there must be mushrooms. I will check it soon and I will definitely show it :)

твои слова подтвердились 100%
я в городе, а на даче выросли такиииие белые, ухх! под дубом, там где мицелий стопудово есть (в прошлом году за лето там 1 гриб был, а сейчас штук 10).  и три красивущих Аманиты... блин. а я тут. а они там. иииих!
