<p> I am Amit Biswas, an IT professional , an avid blogger and an author.   I nourish a spectrum of  diverse interests in areas like Reputation Management, Digital/Crypto Currency and Blockchain Technology, Digital Marketing  and SEO .  I have a  passion for blogging and I write on myriad topics.  I had authored  a book  a  &quot;SEO ReExplored -  The New Mantras after PANDA and PENGUIN,  which is available  online  on Kindle/Amazon. My recent areas of  interest and focus in blogging are  Reputation Management and  and Blockchain technology. Originally a migrant from India,now a responsible US citizen living in Chicago suburbs , I worked in multiple  streams of information technology including  ERP, BI/Analytics, IT Service Management, EAI integration. and Security. Academically,  I am a post-graduate  in Economics and a proud alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta(India). Back in India,  I started my career as a   journalist with Indian Express Newspapers  and  then for several years  I had the opportunity to know the length and breadth of shipping and transportation sector as Superintendent (shipping) in  in Calcutta Port. I proudly trace my root to Indian heritage and  culture that served as the   secular cradle to several ethnicities. Also, with an academic introspection, I observe and follow the goings-on in the social and geo-political arenas of the world, with an specific interest in the region of south Asia. I am anguished to see the pernicious and all engulfing spread of hatred and terrorism across the world,  and I am waiting for a day when the information technology activists will channelize their wisdom and  scholarship of IT to find out some mechanism to arrest that contagious bane, in some way or other. If it can fight cyber terrorism, why not challenge terrorism head on real life? When IT can build solutions for almost every area that touches our life, then why not to curb this terrible menace?  Let all the STEEMIT enthusiasts ponder over this great  possibility. </p>
