I was never a fan of busy.org and I didn’t give it a thought for a long time even after seeing great reviews from other steemians on different occasions. Few weeks back I was kinda forced to join the train after getting tired of steemit.com strange behaviors.

## **What is the Problem with Steemit.com?**

It was at first the lost of two posts of mine that I’d invested a lot of time and strength to write (no duplicate), after hitting the post button, posts disappeared and went somewhere only the steemit dev team might knows (at least that’s what I thought).

I lamented and was hopeful that everything will be fixed within a short period of time so business could continue as usual. It really got better because my post weren’t getting lost anymore, just that it’s now taking more time for posts to go live and sometimes, after hitting the post button, it continue to load for a long time until I have to cancel and refresh the browser, and just to see that my post is already live over 3 minutes ago.

## **Everything Takes More Time to Load**

When I am trying to make a transaction, sometimes it get frustrating as the wheel continue to roll and roll until I open another tab, do something, forget about it and check later. What about comment? I got really demotivated to post comments or reply to one because most times it never get posted and my write ups will be gone.

Other times it just load for a long time while the comment had long been posted it will keep loading. 

## **Solution or Alternatives?**

Steem Inc must have been trying to fix these glitches as it’s evident in the improvements we are experiencing now but the truth is; there is no permanent solution yet so we turn to looking for alternatives. 

## **Busy.Org is a Good Alternative**

I made a switch to busy.org that I have been avoiding for reasons I don’t really know, I guess it’s because I have been too familiar with steemit.com that any other platform ain’t looking attractive, but well, busy.org looks more than attractive when I got tired of steemit.com. I have been using it for over a week now and I think things are only getting better daily.

Another alternative is the esteem mobile app by @good-karma, but I have long stopped using my mobile phone for any other thing than to call, text message and google search. No apps aside chrome browser installed on my phone so I couldn’t test the app for once.

## **So What is Busy.org and is it Really Better?**

One of the reasons I wasn’t interested in using busy.org then was because I didn’t really understand what the platform was built for. I understand quite alright that it was an alternative to steemit.com but I was thinking then why another platform? I was like why are they competing with steemit using steem blockchain?

I don’t need answer anymore, because I can see the need for alternative platforms to be built on steem blockchain. So basically Busy is an open source social network like steemit.com with extends features and functionality that enable users access to steemit platform on a user friendly interface.

My honest opinion of busy.org is that the platform is a easy and better way to access steemit on a better interface that encourages better interaction. Using busy.org I interact more with other steemians because I am able to see their posts from a clear visual point of view.

## **Everything Load Faster**

This is opposite to one of the challenges of steemit.com right now, everything on Busy loads fast, that also encourage 2 times interaction than I would do on steemit.com

## **More Information on one platform**

This is the most interesting part of Busy, on the platform you can get enough information about almost everything than on steemit.com. With busy there’s no need to go to different steem blockchain platforms like steemd.com to check a user current steem power percentage, or the voting percentage a user uses to upvote a particular post. Everything Is provided on the busy platform.

On Busy, you can see the last activity of a user so you know when they are online strolling steemit and when they left. You can also use this information to know how active they are on the platform.

I am not active on steemit.chat because i find it difficult using two necessary platforms on two different platforms. What i mean is that both steemit.chat and steemit.com were suppose to be built together on one platform. They are separate and that makes it difficult to use them both.

Busy makes this possible and it's interesting because i have been getting personal with some of my steemit friends on steemit.chat than i use to before now. You can see me sending message to the boss himself @grantcardone

Steemit.com still remain the official frontend website of the steem blockchain by Steemit Inc and every other platform like busy, chainbb and esteem are alternatives and it depends on individuals to discover and use the platform that best fit their blogging lifestyle. I still use steemit.com daily too and switch between both platforms regularly and i sincerely hope the platform get improved and all issued solve soon.
