Hola a todos quiero presentarme ante la comunidad Hive.  Eashell Baptista es mi nombre, un nombre poco común y con una breve historia que en algún momento compartiré con ustedes, tengo 45 años y soy venezolana.


<br>Nací en la bella ciudad de Los Teques en el Estado Miranda , soy la hermana mayor de 3 hermanos varones:  me sigue un hermano que nació 6 años después de mí y luego seis años más tarde llegan inesperadamente y sin previo aviso ni invitación (pues no estaban planificados) un par de gemelos, ¡pues si!  ¡Gemelos idénticos!, toda una bella experiencia de vida crecer con ellos. 

<br>Cuando  los gemelos nacieron yo tenía 12 años así que esas ternuritas fueron por decir de alguna manera  mis hijos-juguetes ( hijos porque los cuidé y juguetes porque así como se te cae un muñeco y tienes accidentes con tu juguete  así los tuve yo pero  con ellos al punto de casi ahogar a uno de ellos dándole tetero, pero gracias a Dios mi mami siempre estuvo cerca para rescatarlos, jaja), como eran 2 pues era bastante complicado para mí mamá atenderlos y mi papá que  era militar (digo era porque lamentablemente falleció en un accidente de tránsito cuando yo tenía 17) pasaba mucho tiempo fuera de la casa  y entonces yo estaba allí para ayudarla,  a bañarlos, a darle de comer, a atenderlos cuando ambos lloraban al mismo tiempo y en fin hice  de mamá con ellos.

<br>Mi infancia transcurrió entre juegos y peleas con mis hermanos, las peleas definitivamente eran con el que me sigue,  ya que, yo única niña de la casa haciéndome de consentida y él no tolerando en lo absoluto ninguna de mis mimadas. Fue una infancia realmente feliz. Y actualmente todos nos amamos con locura. Uno de los gemelos  se mudó a La Argentina hace 6 años, lo hizo por toda la situación que estaba viviendo  Venezuela;  los otros dos aún hacen su vida  en Los Teques dónde también vive mi mamá. 

 <br>Viví en Los Teques toda mi infancia, adolescencia y parte de mi adultez. Entre muchas cosas que hice en mi ciudad natal  fue la de  realizar mis estudios de preescolar, de primaria,  bachillerato y universitario.

 <br>En los Teques Recibí mi título universitario de Licenciada en Educación Integral de la universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez y allí tuve mis primeras experiencias en aulas de clase, trabajaba en un colegio privado en las mañanas, mientras estudiaba en la universidad en la noche.

<br>Es está ciudad también conocí al amor de mi vida, estudié con él todo bachillerato, pero   no fue sino hasta terminar 5to año e iniciar la universidad que nos hicimos novios. Nuestro noviazgo duró 9 años  (con sus altos y bajos) luego nos casamos y muy en contra de lo que mucha gente decía: que los noviazgos largos generaban matrimonios cortos, pues,  actualmente llevamos 17 años felizmente casados  (también con sus altos y bajos, en los  últimos años  más altos que bajos para ser sincera.)

<br>Fue gracias a él que cambié de residencia, nos mudamos a la isla de Margarita en el estado Nueva Esparta  cuando teníamos 28 años  y allí nos casamos y formamos nuestro hogar, nuestra felicidad se duplica con la llegada de  dos maravillosas niñas.

<br>En la isla me desempeñé siempre como maestra de primaria inicié en institutos privados y luego ingresé a la nómina nacional, el hecho se ser maestra me permitió explotar mi pasión por las manualidades, allí adornar carteleras, hacer carpetas, obsequios, en fin mucho recortar y pegar para crear.

<br>Con la llegada de mis niñas además de ejercer el nuevo título de mamá (nada sencillo por cierto, luego tendré la oportunidad de compartir esas experiencias) fue la oportunidad perfecta para seguir fomentando mi amor por las manualidades, allí comencé a bordar en Punto Cruz sus ropitas y lencerías, pintar sobre madera figuritas para adornar su cuarto y como eran niñas y me encantaba tenerlas como unas muñecas ¡comencé a hacer sus propios lazos y cintillos!, toda una pared llena de ellos,  de cualquier color y para cada ocasión. 

<br>Mis amigas veían los lazos y cintillos de mis niñas y comenzaron a preguntar si yo les podía hacer algunos... Y podría decir que allí fue el origen de mi  emprendimiento, sin embargo,  les cuento que es hasta ahora casi 14 años después  que le coloqué un nombre, una cuenta en Instagram, etiquetas y en fin a hacer un poco más formal el asunto. Mi emprendimiento se llama Seashell.accesorios  (ajá fíjense que es mi nombre con una S adelante... Eso es otra historia más)  y en él por ahora elaboro lazos y cintillos.

<br>Ahora bien y se preguntarán ¿Cómo conocí la comunidad de Hive? Pues a través de mi cuñada @rlathulerie, ella me habló de la plataforma de lo que se hace y de los  beneficios que se obtienen,  pero además del  beneficio, me llamó mucho la atención el hecho de poder escribir de mi vida... ¿sábes? es como iniciar un diario... y esa idea (de hacer un diario) me ha estado  rondando en  la cabeza desde hace mucho tiempo. Entonces vi en Hive la oportunidad  de al fin materializar esa idea. Y efectivamente ya comencé, aquí me encuentro haciendo un texto introductorio y de presentación sobre   quien soy.

<br>Debo reconocer que no ha sido difícil pero si podríamos decir que es  compleja su elaboración, es como un gran tras cámara; hay toda una gran información y un gran trabajo detrás de ese post que leemos en cuestión de minutos. Y por ello agradezco a mi cuñada @rlathulerie quien con mucha pero mucha paciencia me ha ido acompañando y guiando para dar inicio en esta comunidad con buen pie. Me compartió  como mil links (aún me faltan abrir como 500 jaja), los abría y mientras más leía más me enredaba jajaja, era como leer en otro idioma y esto era ¡solo  para poder escribir el post introductorio!, me recomendó un vídeo chat que se daría sobre Hive desde Cero, al cual estoy asistiendo dirigido  por @laloretoya , una clase súper amena, detallada  y sobretodo motivadora, con el que sigo intentando entender todo este mundo, además comenzar a sentirme parte de esta comunidad a crear vínculos  con compañeros que como dice mi cuñada son una familia donde todos se ayudan y apoyan para sencillamente hacer las cosas bien.  

<br>Realmente me entusiasma  la idea de escribir, de plasmar las experiencias de cada área de mi vida, contar sobre mis logros pero también mis fracasos, compartir mis sueños pero también  mis miedos y poder compartirlos y retroalimentarme con otros quienes también se apasionan por escribir, por leer y por crecer.

<br>I was born in the beautiful city of Los Teques in the State of Miranda, I am the oldest sister of 3 brothers: I was followed by a brother who was born 6 years after me and then six years later a pair of twins arrived unexpectedly and without prior notice or invitation (because they were not planned), yes, identical twins, a beautiful life experience growing up with them. 

<br>When the twins were born I was 12 years old so those little tendernesses were, in a way, my children-toys (children because I took care of them and toys because just as you drop a doll and have accidents with your toy so I had them but with them to the point of almost drowning one of them giving him a bottle, but thank God my mommy was always close to rescue them, haha), as there were 2 of them it was quite complicated for my mom to take care of them and my dad who was in the military (I say he was because unfortunately he died in a traffic accident when I was 17) spent a lot of time out of the house and then I was there to help her, to bathe them, to feed them, to take care of them when they both cried at the same time and in short I played mommy with them. 

<br>My childhood was spent between games and fights with my brothers, the fights were definitely with the one who follows me, since I was the only girl in the house playing the spoiled one and he did not tolerate at all any of my spoiled ones. It was a really happy childhood. And nowadays we all love each other madly. One of the twins moved to Argentina 6 years ago, he did it because of the situation Venezuela was going through; the other two still live in Los Teques where my mother also lives. 

<br>I lived in Los Teques all my childhood, adolescence and part of my adulthood. Among many things I did in my hometown was to do my preschool, elementary, high school and university studies.

<br>In Los Teques I received my university degree in Integral Education from the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez and there I had my first experiences in classrooms, I worked in a private school in the mornings, while I studied at the university at night.

<br>In this city I also met the love of my life, I studied with him throughout high school, but it was not until I finished 5th year and started college that we became sweethearts. Our courtship lasted 9 years (with its ups and downs) then we got married and very contrary to what many people said: that long courtships generated short marriages, well, now we have been happily married for 17 years (also with its ups and downs, in the last years more ups than downs to be honest).

<br>It was thanks to him that I changed residence, we moved to the island of Margarita in the state of Nueva Esparta when we were 28 years old and there we got married and formed our home, our happiness is doubled with the arrival of two wonderful girls.

<br>On the island I always worked as a primary school teacher, I started in private schools and then joined the national payroll, the fact of being a teacher allowed me to exploit my passion for crafts, there decorate billboards, make folders, gifts, in short a lot of cutting and pasting to create.

<br>With the arrival of my girls, besides having the new title of mom (not easy by the way, later I will have the opportunity to share those experiences) was the perfect opportunity to continue fostering my love for crafts, there I began to embroider in cross stitch their clothes and lingerie, paint on wood figurines to decorate their room and as they were girls and I loved to have them as dolls, I started to make their own bows and ribbons, a whole wall full of them, of any color and for every occasion. 

<br>My friends saw my girls' bows and headbands and started asking if I could make them some.... And I could say that that was the origin of my venture, however, I tell you that it is now almost 14 years later that I put a name, an Instagram account, tags and finally to make the matter a little more formal. My business is called Seashell.accesorios (aha notice that it's my name with an S in front... That's another story) and for now I make bows and headbands.

<br>Now, and you may wonder, how did I get to know the Hive community? Well, through my sister-in-law @rlathulerie, she told me about the platform, what you do and the benefits you get, but besides the benefit, the fact of being able to write about my life caught my attention.... you know? it's like starting a diary... and that idea (of making a diary) has been in my head for a long time. Then I saw in Hive the opportunity to finally materialize that idea. And indeed I have already started, here I am writing an introductory and presentation text about who I am.

<br>I must admit that it has not been difficult but we could say that its elaboration is complex, it is like a great behind the camera; there is a lot of information and a great work behind that post that we read in a matter of minutes. And for that I thank my sister-in-law @rlathulerie who with lots and lots of patience has been accompanying me and guiding me to start this community on the right foot. She shared with me about a thousand links (I still need to open about 500 haha), I opened them and the more I read the more I got tangled hahaha, it was like reading in another language and this was just to write the introductory post! recommended me a video chat that would be given on Hive from Zero, which I am attending led by @laloretoya, a super nice class, detailed and above all motivating, with which I continue trying to understand this whole world, also begin to feel part of this community to create links with peers that as my sister-in-law says are a family where everyone helps and supports each other to simply do things well.  
I am really excited about the idea of writing, to capture the experiences of each area of my life, to tell about my achievements but also my failures, to share my dreams but also my fears and to be able to share them and give feedback to  who are also passionate about writing, reading and growing.
