nice post and great work , but i don't share with you this opinion about Bitcoin

I hear where you're coming from. One of the first things I heard about Bitcoin was that it was anonymous, untraceable, but once I learned a little about it I realised it's anything but anonymous. 

And the thought of one global power embedding a scannable trackable chip in every citizen that we'd use for all transactions doesn't seem that far fetched. Like something from a scifi thriller made real.

Edit: maybe it's my general anaesthetic and pain drugs wearing off as I lay here in hospital after surgery, but yeah, anythings possible right?

I'm feeling that the humans are making leaps and bounds. Things are changing. Change is in the air massively.

I have been a little worried about it lately. Just the sheer speed that this thing is moving upwards and how the government won't really comment about it, which seems strange.

We were just having this conversation, as I questioned all of the points you brought up. I tend to believe that you are right. I have to say though I will continue to dabble on a small scale. It's sudden growth has helped me out of a bind.

I don't know, the government creates a system of currency that they can't regulate? hmmm

Once you understand the implications of Bitcoin once massively adopted, it is hard to believe a government would want to create the thing that will eventually subvert much of their power

Very interesting perspective.  A side I hadn't considered honestly.   Taking into account the timing of the white paper release, hmmm.  Must consider further.

It is very possible, I have to agree.

If they made it or not, they can easily control it by regulation, red tape and tax. 

What about Monero and other coins that are actually anonymous? Do you think these are legit?

What's your thoughts on governments and social media? Do they also dictate this to collect data? Maybe you could do a post about this? I could put more data together about my friends from their posts on FB than I ever could even in real life. People seem very reluctant to share in real life but will lay it all out online. 

Does all this even matter if they own us? I'm unsure. No one can own the love I feel for my family and really that's the most this life matters to me. I'd really love to hear more thoughts on this as most Aussies have been dumbed down to football and beer drinking so we've never really had the open eyes to see more than this.

I've had conversations with a person who believes they were attacked by govt agents and had their code for bitcoin stolen. They didn't pass as being completely sane, but I'm not an expert so who really knows. ;)

Interesting perspective, even if I don't share that belief :-)
