STEEMIT 101: How to Change your AVATAR / PROFILE PIC here on Steemit -- Super Simple instructions for non tech types!

Keeping my word to continue to share / re-share  Steemit 101 type things because I had help when I was new, and we have new users daily who are lost like we were when we were new!

1/ Go to your main Steemit page.  Click "Blog"/ Settings.  ( ie -Beside your "Wallet" tab )  //    Settings opens up to what you see below here  in the graphic -- a box for you to PASTE your image url into.  ("PROFILE PICTURE URL" box)

Then: 

2/ Go find your picture / picture url online -- someplace like your Twitter page or your domain/web address page etc etc.  

3/ RIGHT click on that

4/  "Copy Image Location" or similar will be in the drop down.

5/  PASTE that into your setting bar.  

6/ It may change and auto refresh, but if not--- Use the new UPDATE button there, it has changed there over the months...... REFRESH your page and it should be there.

Thanks ! I just  posted a short list of emoji's and how to call them into your blog post @barrydutton.
A couple people were wondering how or why steemit didn't have an emoji GUI or dropdown. It would be a fairly simple to add, and probably isn't far from being coded in, but in the meantime we get to practice some basic html :P
