Yesterday we visited Finland in 1930 and saw a badge with a coat of arms in the form of a lion armed with a sword against a background of flowers.

This coat of arms is very popular for postage stamps in Finland, and 20 years later we see a postage stamp, which also depicts a brave but peace-loving lion.

This time, the lion is depicted on a blue background.

The perforation, the size of the postage stamp and its denomination have changed, but its essence has not changed. This is the pride of the Finnish people, who love their country very much and respect its symbols.

I have not been able to find clean postage stamps in the auction lots and am at a loss to say how much a blank postage stamp might cost.
