Introducting BASED TOKEN to the Steem Blockchain

Based Token is intented to be a multi-platform tipping token.

# Now: Based Tokens are currently available on Steem-Engine.com.

500,000 were minted meant to be selectively airdropped while we are getting things going. We do not intend on minting any more tokens until a tribe is created for the community and staking is available.

We intend on having additional rewards and perks available to users based on a yet-to-be-determined thresholds.

# Soon: Tipping on Steem comments

- Users will be able to tip each other through comments of posts. Users using the "Based" tag will be considered for Based Tipping by individuals as well as @BasedToken.

- Tokens may randomly be gifted based on actions on the Steem blockchain mentioning Based Tokens.

# Soon(ish)

- Multi-Platform tipping on different social media platforms.

- Website available for content creators to create profile pages

- User-friendly onboarding to invite others from platforms outside of Steem.

- Discord Server

# Basics

"Based" represents being yourself, unashamed. We feel content creation is one of the best examples of being yourself and want to network and meet other content creators, offer help, marketing, promotion, and support. We are all in this together.

We believe the value will be maintained in a few different ways: Currently there are many great projects being introduced that burns tokens based on some sort of economical model of bringing in outside money. We intend on looking into all available options to do so.

Low Inflation: we want there to be an excitement and desire to be involved in the community and we are very serious of nothing have an inflation that is too high where early adopters and users are not penalized for staking.

Incentives: We intend on having different incentives, abilities, and perks for certain thresholds of staked tokens.
